Discovered today that SaveMart doesn't allow using a credit card to purchase gift cards. This makes no sense, plenty of other places do. The checker was rude about it and delayed me while she had to return the gift cards. Told me all about how she could get in trouble, as if I was threatening her career. There are a lot of grocery stores in Chico and I'll make every attempt in the future to avoid this place. Bad policies, bad service.

Would give 5 stars but they told me they didn’t have trippin point. Yeah right buddy, Can’t hide it from me. I bet they had it hidden from me as soon as I walked in the door. Love that restaurant tho. I’ll go to reddings trippin point instead i guess

I was in the store today around 10.30 , by the time I left I was sweating!! It was cooler outside . They need to get the AC fixed . I feel sorry for the people that works on that all day . Hope they will soon , before health department finds out !

I shop almost every day at Save Mart. Staff is very nice, prices are right. They have most of what I need.

The store was nice and clean. Well stocked. They have a good selection of groceries and other goods. It would of been nice to see employees around to help ppl looking for items in the isles. I was looking for an item for about 10 minutes and then tried to find an employee to help but everyone was just standing up at self checkout talking. So I searched the store for another 5 minutes and finally found my papusas. Having at least 1 employee walk the store to face items and help customers would be nice.

Great customer service the moment you walk through the doors. Very clean isle's and clean restrooms.
Handicap accessible as well.
When I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, getting assistance is quick and the staff are very kind and knowledgeable about the whereabouts of their products.
If you need the restroom, ask a staff member for the code to enter.
