Been with this bank for 20 years . deposited a camp fire victum check 64,000.00 management took my check and made a decission to place a hold on my check for 10 days. I needed my money for a deposit on a home that i lost out on. come to find outmy check was placed in to the fraud unit.when all along all she had to do was to make a single phone call to check funds.I had more then enough varifacation to show who i was. The bank manager refused to help me in any way total refusal .i asked them for my deposit slip back and they said it was shredded which was found unshredded. i had been waiting for more then 4 years for my first payment from the fire trust. Management acted as if they could care less .As it stands now my grandaughter and i will still be liveing in our travel trailer.still dont have my money.I would never tell anyone that this is a good bank to do buisness with, vary unprofessional. You would had to been there to see how wrong in every way they, The management was.The women manager was negative from the time we got their to the time i left If this is how the bank treats people i have no use for them, i will be getting all my money out of that bank. BUTTE COMMUNITY,AND ROBOBANKS WERE GOOD ,WHAT HAPPEND?EVERY BANK IVE BEEN TO IN MY LIFE HAS ALWAYS TREATED ME WITH RESPECT AND ALWAYS TRIED TO HELP WITH ANY PROBLEMS. NOT THIS ONE. WE GOT NO HELP ONCE SO EVER. TO BAD FOR THEM.

Lovely professional teller handled three transactions a wire transfer for a new- in-townWith aplomb. She was very pleasant about requiring my MB I’d as well as drivers license and I am very pleased.

This is for Mechanics Bank and buy out of Rabobank. You are lucky if you can get through to them on their 800 number...I have spent hours on hold only to hang up. My branch in Oroville can not give you new ATM cards. You can not get one FEDEX to you either. Hours on hold again to day. SCREW YOU! I am taking my money out!

I was punished for not having an account with Robobank / Mechanics Bank. Their corporate managers are driven by greed and mistakenly believe that nickel and diming people qualifies as great customer service.I needed to cash a $100 check and they (the location at East Avenue in the Raley's parking lot) charged $6.00 because I don't have an account there.I now know that the corporate managers greed rivals B of A and I would be fiscally irresponsible to open an account at a nickel and dime bank.

I have been banking with Rabobank forever it seems now. I opened my account back when it was Butte Community back and while I had a few hiccups here and there with the bank, they have been my bank of choice...until now! Ever since the merge with Mechanics bank I have been unable to access my account (I didn't log in correctly and so it locked me out of my account). I have tried for now 4 days consistently to get through to them and unlock my account and I have gotten nowhere. I have been on hold for hours at a time, I have been hung up on, and I have been told they are too busy for my call. Excuse me?! I have bills to pay, rent to pay and I have no idea if the funds are current in my account (when I check with the ATM). I work a 8-5 job and have no time to go in there and ask them to unlock my account and normally I can get through on the phone, but this is ridiculous. I am beyond frustrated, and will now be taking my business and money elsewhere. You guys should have prepared better for this merger and not make those of us grandfathered in from 2008 or even longer to suffer like this. It is BS!

The ladies upfront are useless most of the time. Couldn't even complete a simple deposit, instead took money out of my account.... Mechanics might want to rethink that Rabobank acquisition or train their employees better.

worst customer service ever. have been unable to transfer an inherited ira with myself as sole beneficiary for over a month now. just get runaround. Update: called the Mechanics Bank call center and was finally put in touch with right person who could help. the lady who answered the call line (believe her name was Louisa) was diligent in finding just the right person who could help me(Connie in retirement services) Mechanics Bank is in process of taking over Rabo.

Very unhelpful. Low effort from staff left me very unsatisfied. Not taking their job serious when they are playing with my money
