One of the hotel housekeepers stole my JBL speaker and the manager (PONEY) didn’t do anything about it. I never received a call back, letting me know they found it. This is horrible customer service. The deposit is $250 which they kindly said I didn’t have to pay upfront, but that is ridiculous for a Quality Inn. Best advice if you can find another hotel for a little more money go with that one.

Fantastic staff and rooms. The only downside is there is only one ice machine however there was no ice and the temperature was 104 degrees. The vents where the air comes out if the air conditioning units desperately need to be cleaned. They are coated dirt and God only knows what so you are breathing that.
Nearby activities: There is pool and a Cajun seafood restaurant in the parking lot.

My mom and I, along with her entire family stayed here for my brother’s graduation this past week and the rooms were adorable and very well kept. The staff is absolutely so kind including all the housekeeping staff who treated us so well. The location is walkable to downtown area including Stoble Coffee Shop, etc. I left my camera charging battery there that fell behind the fridge and when I called back, Terry went up to the room and grabbed it for me almost a week later!

Writing this review from the comfort of my room. I am beyond impressed with this hotel. When I walked into my room everything looked and felt brand new - like I was the first person to stay here. Everything is very clean, towels and linens in good shape, the shower even has dual shower heads - a regular one and a rain shower! Breakfast was pretty standard, and free. Front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and they are available 24 hours, so if you are rolling in on the unpredictable late night Coast Starlight, you'll be fine (but if you're running later than 3 a.m., call so they don't cancel your reservation). The location, obviously, is pretty much ideal. Everything there is to love about downtown Chico is an easy walk. For the price, this place really can't be beat!

It was a pretty good experience and an overall nice hotel. My only complaint is that the shower and toilet completely backed up and leaked all over. But they were so quick to move us to a new room 2 doors down. It was just late, so packing up and moving wasn't what I was wanting to do.
The fact that they offer breakfast is a plus. Nice grab and go items. Very close to Chico State, which we were visiting. I'm sure we'll stay here again next time we're in town. The staff is super friendly.

My wife couldn't be happier with our recent stay at the Quality Inn (Chico). Firstly, Teri was extremely friendly upon check-in. She answered all our questions, was well-organized and made good food recommendations. The rooms themselves were extremely clean with high quality shower, bedding, TV and refrigerator that all was fresh and clean. The breakfast was simple and a nice variety exactly as you would expect. Upon checkout Teri was very humble giving all the credit to housekeeping, which summarized a great stay because of a Teri and her staff.

It was a good place to stay with my grand babies while their parents went out with friends to celebrate I was disappointed that the breakfast bar had ZERO protein, not even peanut butter for a banana. At least provide hard-boiled eggs.

Poney, the night desk person was very friendly. Actually, everyone was very friendly. At first I was not able to get the TV to function but that could have been my ignorance of how to use Direct TV? I tried hooking into the HDMI port which was located in the back and difficult to access and gave up. I may have put the hotel source cable in a different input slot because the TV worked after that. The room was clean. I don't know Chico but I got the feeling this hotel may not be in the best part of town. The room was clean and functional but the vanity drain was slow.

Very clean and comfortable it has all you need in a room. Coffee, tv, refrigerator, desk, nice shower and most of all comfortable mattress.Front desk checkin very pleasant and informative.Convenient to restaurants and the best ice cream place right around the corner.We would stay here every-time we are in Chico.They also have breakfast with waffles, cereal fruit, toast and more. Very nice.
