Tyler found a policy when no one else could!Tyler Nelson went above and beyond to find our coverage! As new landlords we wanted to find a solid policy to protect ourselves and our lovely tenant.We had checked with many different companies who repeatedly told us no new policies would be written. A family member recommended us to Tyler, raving about how thorough and helpful he had been.Within 24 hours we were covered with a wonderful and affordable policy.I can’t tell you how relieved we were to get a policy in place. Update 3/14/2023: Since last week when I posted my original review, a Nevin & Witt support staff member (not my agent) e-mailed me telling me my balance was fully paid. Then agent Darren Hovey followed up saying I did have a balance because my payment schedule was impacted by the error their office originally made. And then, that Nevin & Witt went ahead and paid the difference in that remaining balance. This makes sense, given that the balance was a result of their error- and was not clearly and promptly explained to me. I am glad Nevin and Witt made up the difference, and wish it had not required me to sort through multiple and conflicting communications. Mark- I thank you for getting back. Local business is important. I wish your team the best as you correct processes to provide clear and prompt service.Original review 3/8/2023: Encountered multiple situations where Nevin and Witt's administrative processes (or lack there of) caused me to receive inaccurate notices from the insurance company. The first happened because a form I signed to start my policy wasn't submitted in time. I switched to AAA hoping for better customer service- and also ended up with better rates. Now I'm receiving more notices saying I owe money on a policy that was fully paid. This is a waste of time I cannot afford. And scanning the other reviews, I'm seeing that some others have had a similar experience.I prefer to support local business and see them thrive, so I hope Nevin and Witt gets this sorted out soon. I'll gladly update this review once my former agent (Darren Hovey) gets back to me confirming the most recent error is sorted.

Now this is the company you want to help all your family Insurance needs from their team that helps with Medicare to Car insurance I wouldnt go anywhere else. Tyler Walsh was so kind during Open enrollment helping my grandmother find the right plan for her and even double checking her Supplement when the right time of year came. They treat you like family!

I needed a new policy on my house right away and a friend told me about Tyler Nelson at Nevin & Witt in Chico. I called and was speaking with Tyler within a minute. He understood my issue, and worked up a quote for me within the hour. Tyler always quickly followed up with me about questions that I had about my new policy with well-thought out emails. Top notch service all the way. I would not hesitate to recommend Tyler.

Maria Pandula went far and beyond for us!We were growing desperate to find home owners insurance while we were in escrow and no luck getting home owner’s insurance due to the house’s location, consisted “at risk fire zone”However, Maria was efficient and she reassured me that she would do her best and use all her resources so we wouldn’t lose our real estate deal. Next week, we close and we are thrilled to move into our “forever” & ever home. Thank you all Nevin & Witt, particularly Maria. Your efforts allowed us to move into our beautiful home.

Have contacted the agency for two months to keep from auto renewing a policy. Continue to receive paperwork it will auto renew later this month after multiple calls and emails. Don't get involved with them, it isn't worth your time and trouble.
