This place is great. They helped me with my SBI. I'm a little broken up, but still a ray of sunshine. How could I not be after visiting Mission Ranch? Some doctors use the shotgun approach, but not here (I'm a bit scattered already, so that's double plus good). They plucked out the problem like it was the game Operation. I'm sure that I looked green before, but I'm feeling much better now. They should rename themselves the Ministry of Awesome. Recommended.

I see their PA Bob Kurts and he is just amazing. He really takes the time to listen to my issues and addresses them. His medical assistant is also great. She always gets back to me next day when I need help

When you have a place that has a lot of doctors it gets busy. You have to understand that. With that being said, I don’t see what everybody is negative about the staff has been nothing. Short of amazing to me and my wife! the manager is a very sweet lady! The ladies at the front are always willing to help and always go the extra mile! The woman named Jennifer is from Tennessee, and she really brings a light and energy to this place! If you’ve had a bad experience before I recommend that you go back and give it another shot just be considerate of others because everybody has to see the doctor and there’s a lot of them! Be kind and courteous, and it’ll come back to you!

Don't bother with this place if you are trying to apply for a PCP. If you are lucky enough to be recognized at the front desk, you will be given an incredibly intrusive application asking for all your private medical statistics. Once that application is submitted you won't hear anything from them for three weeks or more. Calling them or going back to the office will be pointless as all you will hear is they are waiting for their "team" to review the application. If they are this uncaring about your time/medical needs, you can imagine the "care" you might receive assuming you could ever get an appointment. Stay away from these people.

When my Dr of 30 years retired in Dec 2023 I had to go to someone new. I picked Dr Diane Carlson. She had a chip on her shoulder the minute she walked in for the first appointment. It was just a series of fast fire questions, and when I didn't know the date of my last tetanus shot, she scoffed at me and acted like I was stupid. Like doesn't everyone remember that????? She didn't look at me when she spoke, choosing instead to stare at the lap top, and with the paper mask she wore I had a difficult time understanding her. Worst experience I've ever had with a Dr. I would never go back. Rude, arrogant, belittling as if she were superior. As she left the room, with her back to me she said "I suggest next time you have a better attitude". I guess I didn't answer the questions fast enough. Believe me, there won't be a next time.

The worst primary care I’ve ever had. Front office lacked customer service. I had just moved to Chico and in need of a new primary doctor. Only doctors at Mission Ranch that was accepting new patients at the time was both Dr. Carlsons. I chose Dr. J Carlson and made a mistake. He made me feel like another number. Not very personable. Would not refer anyone to him.If looking for a primary doctor then don’t waste your time on him.

Dr Diane Carlson is fabulous - listened to me and heard me out despite not having faith in previous doctors who had treated my autoimmune disease, respected my decision to not go back to a specialist (who wanted to order a 3rd endoscopy, and TBH I just don’t want to do unnecessary stuff like that), and helped to guide me in managing my autoimmune disease without further testing. She also squeezed me in within a week for an extra appointment because I needed documentation signed. Highly recommend for individuals who haven’t felt heard by previous providers.

My husband and I were very happy to leave our other provider and get a provider with Mission Ranch Primary Care. Helen was was helpful to follow through with our request and so far all the employees are the same. We are looking forward to our long term care at this facility.

I was moved to this group when Argyll shut down and so far my experience has not been positive. Tried to call to make an appointment and was put on hold for eternity before finally giving up. My son had the same experience. He got so frustrated that he went down and made the appointment in person. This isn’t hard folks…hire another person or two to answer the phone.

Clown show!! THEY CALLED ME to set up my new patient appointment (I followed my amazing provider here) and when I showed up there was no appointment!!! Basically got a bunch of excuses, an “I don’t know” and an almost apology. Now another 2 weeks out!! Wish I could charge them a “no show” fee. Awful!

Dr. Neyduch has been my doctor since I was very young, probably about 25 years now. The office is always clean and I've always had a good experience with both my doctor and the front desk.

I absolutely love Mission Ranch Primary Care. I see Shirley Huffman and she is probably the best medical care giver I have ever had in my 77 years! She is patient, explains everything in terms I can understand, is extremely compassionate and extremely thorough and competent. She absolutely follows through on everything and if she is worried about you, she actually calls! The office personnel are all very professional and competent. Another great convenience is that they have a lab on the premises, so I don't have to make extra trips elsewhere for this. I highly recommend this medical care office They are the best!

Do yourself a favor and find a different practice. I filled out my new patient paperwork in November and the earliest appointment they had was March. Then 20 min before my appointment I get a call telling me they need to reschedule me out another month and a half. Finally on the day of my rescheduled appointment I show up and the front office staff was rude when the told me they had given me the incorrect time for my appointment. They were unapologetic about their mistake and the soonest appointment for reschedule was a month and a half out. So 6 months later I still have not been seen. Good thing I’m not in an urgent need for a physician. Hopefully the next place isn’t as bad.
