I ordered a Awoco range hood from Lowe's after my over the range microwave with exhaust fan stopped working. It was an kitchen improvement I was looking for. Everything went like clockwork after I placed the order. The hood was shipping to the store in a timely manner. The manufacturer, Awoco. even chenged the LED light from cool to warm upon my request and a $10 fee I paid to them directly. The installer came in a timely manner to do the installation. However after a few days, I got concerned as it did not seem to suck any air and when turned up to high it seem even worse. I called the installer, he told me to call Lowe's. The installer was sent back. When he was here, I suggested that the damper might be the problem... he replied that he had removed so it could not be the problem. He suggested that something was blocking the exhaust in the ducts to the outside which seems improbable since the exhaust fan from the microwave was working. Then he said the new Awoco hood was faulty and he would contact Lowe's and have them send a new one. Two weeks later after several calls with Lowe's with no exact solution or timeline for any resolution, I got frustrated and the agent on the phone put me in direct contact with Awoco, the range hood manufacturer. Upon the manufacturer suggestion, I removed the ducts above the hood in the kitchen cabinet, and guess what, the damper was still in place (lie #1) however it would not lift up when I turned hood on. The damper was stuck in its rectangular housing. I called the manufacturer back and sent him pictures. He told the damper needed to be lifted. I too a plastic knife and delicately pulled the pamper out of its housing. Problem fixed! Afterwards I called Lowe's back to explain what had happened and my frustration with the process. Their answer was to tell me that my installation warranty was now void since I had touched their installation! Upon further considerations: 1. Installations from Lowe's may not be professional - watch every step fo the process. 2. Lowe's doubled down by voiding my installation warranty. I don't care, they will not get my business back. 3. Awoco gets an A+, for a beautiful range hood + thanks for saving the day! 4. I had to get a few new parts to install the ducting back, I went to a different hardware store where they treat their customers and employees better. What a fantastic team of helpful people. I've been shopping at this Lowes for years and never leave without a friendly encounter with one or more of their crew. Jean and Brian back in the design center are fantastic. Anne and Sean at the pro desk, Betty, Flower, Aaron, Dennis, Karen, James, and so many more amazing, hard-working people.We love that they are dog friendly!

I was there for a work project and needed to build sectioning PVC measuring apparatus’s for utility vegetation management pole clearing, and there were staff on hand to help me find the necessary tools and equipment to make it happen. Amazing service.

Shopped there for years but this last time I went to pay with a check like I've done there many times. The cashier said the check machine was acting up. Which i asked should i go inside. check reader wasn't working so the lady starts looking at my check like my check is the problem then proceed to try to question me about checking account...which i told her was way out of line and my check isn't the issue then she proceeds to grumble my check up at that point I grabbed my check pushed my cart hard into shelves and went to customer service but still wasn't happy so called the corporate office & file compliant on store & worker...Way disrespectful and rude cashier......

These guys are always hooking it up. It's a little confusing trying to find what I'm looking for sometimes because they have multiple sections for some items that are needed for more than one specific project, i.e. stove pipes, solder, adhesives. Make sure you look in other isles before you settle on what you need.

Lowes lost a long time customer. I'll be spending my money at Home Depot for now on. I tried to return a BRAND NEW UNOPENED package of Christmas lights (with my receipt and within standard return window). I had purchased one more set than needed. They refused the return of a $40 set of lights because it was after Christmas. No one mentioned this to me when I purchased them. I want to reiterate these were still in shrink wrap and unopened. I recommend shopping at Home Depot instead.

The employees are the core strength of Lowe's, and they are out there on the floor every day actively seeking out customers in need. High five to the management team as well for a clean store, positive staff attitude, and consistent standards. Update: I still stand by this terrific review ? WORST EXPERIENCE! Do not buy here. We ordered some items online and they arrived all damaged. We bought them brand new and the ones that arrived all either had scratches, dents and doors would not close. The manager Jeff had said to the delivery people that he talked to us to let us know they were in this condition and that we’d have a 25% off, which is a lie. We never received a phone call from him or someone in this store and never had the discount either. Needless to say, we returned the items and are very disappointed. Never buying at Lowe’s again, avoid this headache and buy at Home Depot instead.
