“An impressive staff! While in the store on 2/8, I knocked over a jar of olives at the cashier's counter. Both the cashier and assistant could not have been kinder. It was most appreciated. The assistant refused a gratuity for the inconvenience. I was struck by her graciousness. I always enjoy my experience at World Market, and on this occasion it reminded me why.”
“Super nice staff. They were saying that the eggs should be all covered by WIC but somehow none of the eggs I tried were approved even though I have all the balance available in WIC. Still, they helped me a lot and I can’t thank them enough.”

“A store in wich you can get deli food and hot food for lunch. You can pick up dinner at the same time wether your vegan or gluten free they have a great organic selection and hard to fined items . lovely butter cream Meyers lemon black berry cake.must check this one out.”

“This establishment is an old standby has been here forever the guy behind the counter has also been there for a very long time consistency being key, it's nice to see local guy do well for himself. And the tacos establishment that is rent to space from him and has a window in his business... Is also an old school favorite in Chico. they started in a wagon out in the parking lot!”

We have had two big weddings in the last two years and they took care of us. They went above and beyond what a normal liquor store would do for people. You can see why they are beloved in Chico. “The guy everybody here is bitching about is a good employee. He doesn't cheat the customers and doesn't cheat his employer. Is he "chatty"? No, he isn't. Give the guy a break. It's none of your business but he doesn't drink and has his reasons why. They are valid reasons. He is not rude. He is not surly. He is simply not a "chatty" kind of guy. I've patronized this store off and on for years. It's not my "main liquor store" but it's a good store with competitive pricing and, if you aren't a judgemental person, the main employee is simply a person doing his job. He wasn't hired to "amuse you". No, he isn't the most convivial person you will meet. Get over it. I have absolutely zero issues with this guy. Note: In the far distant past I worked in a liquor store. I was probably the guy these disgruntled people are looking for. I was totally outgoing and convivial. I know why they are griping but they are wrong.”

“For a corporate chain, BevMo! is pretty good. They tend to have a decent selection, though my visit today was 0/3 on the items I was after. It used to be pretty nice in Chico but they seem to have abandoned the cheese!
Staff is usually pretty helpful. The beer selection is basically second to none in the area. Surprisingly, the liquor selection is where they're lacking as I found both of the items I was after in Orland at The Little liquor store on the east side of town. The wine selection is also awesome for those who like wine and several of the employees are great sommeliers.
If you're after a specific beer, absolutely check here first. Same with the wine. I think they need to bring back the cheese!”

“All I gotta say is that pliny is available in bottles, and they have a great selection of booze. Best spot to get those hard to find beers in chico. 10/10 would recommend.”
