I have been going to J&J for many years now. It's a small shop with just one mechanic. It's nice to only talk to the person who is actually working on my car. He is a straight to the point kinda guy which is exactly what I look for in a mechanic. I was way past need of my last oil change with a long drive scheduled in a couple day.... I called him frantic and he squeezed me in, that's customer service. My tires were off balance so he referred me to a tire place for an alignment and ensured me that I don't need to tires but they might try to sell me them. I absolutely appreciated that advice.

Jake is a fantastically knowledgeable mechanic, and he really knows Volvos in tremendous detail. I had a weird issue on my '86 740 that others told me would take hours to diagnose, but he recognized the issue, and went ahead and replaced a $20 piece of rubber, and she ran great again. If your Volvo needs work, it needs to go to Jake.

Jake is a godsend. He is super smart and really knows what he is doing. I will never take my 5 volvo to anyone else. Highly recommend this place. Prices are on point.

This guy was very rude from the start. Had an attitude. Made an agreement to fix the AC on our Econoline motorhome. Got into the work then blew the A/C lines after an over 700 bill. We were told that he wanted to "Wash his hands of the whole thing. We paid him for a half completed job and found another mechanic to finish the job. I would give him zero stars if I could. I would not recommend this guy to anyone. His customer service is terrible and his attitude is arrogant and dismissive.
