My family and I have lived in different places within the State and out of the State, and We have always visited health club, but never seen anything like Emotion fitness in Chico is the I ever seen and enjoy as health club has very many amenities, it is a resort of luxury and the is friendly, we love it and highly recommend it to anyone!

This gym has an adequate amount of equipment and amenities, but it is full of degenerates who can't seem to re-rack their weights, wipe down equipment, or even wash their hands after using the bathroom. For $73 a month I'd expect members to be held to a higher standard.

People wear their shoes in the sauna, it is disgusting. The steam room has been closed for months. The "hot yoga" studio does not actually have a working heater. Members are often disrespectful when in the sauna. The janitorial staff walks through the sauna with their shoes on. If you have any reasonable expectations, you will be disappointed by the way this "club" is managed.

Love the facility and how much equipment they have. I also love the daycare and that you get two hours free a day to use it. And I love that Japanese Blossom is back and in the Cafe.

I used as a drop in while visiting Chico after driving from the Bay. Two hours later I left and have to write this review. I worked out in the outside area on. A cold rainy night. Loved watching the lap swimmers while doing cardio: then was surprised to see I could do a weight circuit outside too. Following weights, I showered in the clean locker room and dod mild water work in the medium size pool. I think it was saltwater. Then to a warmer pool. Did not use the spas as they were full of men. So I rinsed off and returned to the locker room: did some had weights in the women's only area and finished with 10 minutes in the sauna. Thank you In motion for a fantastic evening of self care.

I've been going here for a while (about 3-4 years). Always paid my dues on time. Never had to deal with their customer service untill now. Let me tell you they DO NOT CARE if you have concerns, how long you have been going or anything once you are going. The projected feeling is we are big enough that we do not care if you cancel. Their customer service is trash.

Overall pretty decent gym. The place is a complete maze though so if you've never been be prepared to be lost for the first few weeks. Bathroom are just as much as a maze as the rest of the gym(at least the men's bathroom is) Even in the peak times there is enough equipment to get your workout in.
