“These guys are super helpful and very friendly. I’m actually not into RC cars as of now but I am an electrical engineering student at Chico State and I need an electronic speed controller last minute and I showed up to Amain Hobbies like 40 minutes before they closed but they were extremely helpful in finding me what I need. I needed my esc to interface with an Arduino microcontroller and that kind man working that day didn’t know too much about that but he called his technician who was suppose to be off work that day and he sat down with me for about 15 minutes and explained how I could do it and any pitfalls to avoid. Super super kind with their customer service and determination to help me out with my project even though it’s not something they do every day.
Side note, the building was super clean and put together. They have a huge race track in the back, and it looks like multiple courses as well. Honestly a super cool spot, makes we want to get into RC.”
