DeVon’s Jewelers is the only place I want to go when it comes to Jewelry. I am from Alaska, yet I visit family in Chico CA and always need to stop in DeVon’s. The staff here are always welcoming and helpful. This past December Gilbert and Wade were able to help me with a band purchase. They were amazing to work with and took such care when it came to me as a customer. Aiding when it came to sizing the ring and getting it to Alaska for me. Awesome service! I took my engagement ring to DeVons because the stone was quite loose and needed tightening (not a ring from their store, but from Etsy). I called first and they were very kind and cordial on the phone; the first woman I talked to assessed the information I gave her and went to ask an associate to get me an accurate answer, and then when I asked a more difficult and specific question, she put that associate on the phone. When I asked him for an estimate, he said they're usually hesitant to give an estimate until they can actually see the jewelry and assess it, but asked me some basic questions about it and was able to give me a range, which was very helpful, simply because I just wanted to know if I was going to be able to afford it. Once I actually brought it in, they were quick to get it in, and the woman at the front desk gave me an estimate for the longest amount of time it would take, but I got it back way sooner, which I was very pleased about, because I wanted it back before an event. They did an amazing job, and of course cleaned the ring, as well, and it looked like brand new. Will absolutely go back if it happens again, and am happy to be able to rely on DeVons if any issues arise in the future. Thank you so much for your help!

I don’t ever post negative reviews, but I even know where to start. We had a great experience purchasing my wedding band and my engagement ring, however, the quality has been absolutely horrendous. I lost three diamonds in my wedding band within the first year of owning it, and a FOURTH one a year later, and my main diamond in my engagement ring has now come loose TWICE. After taking in my ring to have the diamonds replaced, I asked to have the wedding band completely replaced as it had to have been faulty. They refused to do this, and instead said they would replace the diamonds, which meant I’d be out of a ring for weeks at a time. I was without my wedding ring for a cumulative of several months my first year of being married, which should never happen. When I lost the fourth diamond I about lost my mind. They eventually told me my options were to either bring it in every single month to have the prongs checked and tightened (meaning I’d be without the ring for at least a week every month - unreal); I could trade in the band and have to spend 2x the amount of the band in order to do a trade in, or unsauter it and keep it and get a new band at full price. (I unsautered it and kept my band and bought a new one elsewhere). Not to mention they had horrible communication with me to where I had to call and check on my ring several times, all when they told me that they would keep me updated but never did. And lastly, my sister in law AND cousin have both had several issues with their rings as well (one had to get a brand new ring elsewhere due to her ring issues). Would never recommend this place as the quality of their jewelry is horrible, and their customer service over the years has gone down significantly.

Owner or manager or guy whoever runs the store is a douche but Pretty good looking jewelry/diamonds wish they had more earth grown selections decent pricing, was told I'd get a new ring box with one of my purchases but didn't receive.

I went into DeVons looking for a band to add to my rings and Kevin was very helpful in my search. The selection was abundant so I could not decide at the moment but I will be back to buy my band.

Devon's in Chico mall is amazing. I was a bit nervous going in as I was thinking about upsizing my wedding diamond. My sweet husband told me that I deserved it. We couldn't afford much when we got married over 30 years ago. All of the employees were so kind and knowledgeable. I had a lot of questions and probably seemed a bit annoying at times but they stuck with me and I am overjoyed at the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking professional, knowledgeable and personalized service. It just felt like family.

Very welcoming was treated with such a great amount of respect. GIVE them a visit! Both staff were excellent. Huge thank you to Gilbert for recognizing my veteran status and giving me a deal <3. Looking forward to visiting again in a few weeks to get a silver chain repaired. ^^

I went in to have a battery replaced in an Invicta watch that belonged to my deceased Dad and the assistant Manager Gilbert was very accommodating and professional. It was only a $10.00 sale but he made me feel like I was spending thousands. Absolutely love this jewelry store!!! We went there about 2-3 weeks ago just to get sized and look at some rings. Ended up finding the one. Kevin has been more than amazing to work with. He held the ring for us for a few weeks actually until we could pick up and he even went above and beyond with my fiancés ring, getting samples in so we could look at those and is helping design his ring and being realistic about what we will get and what is in our budget. When we went in to pay for my ring, Kevin wasn't in but the girls in the front did an amazing job finding his notes and making sure we were paying what was promised. No hassle at all. I 100% suggest them. Note: In response to some of the other reviews, I never noticed anyone "drunk" or under the influence of something and they were completely upfront with me about the lab created diamonds and the mined ones....and honestly you cannot tell the difference between the two. Except you don't have the "blood diamond" guilt with a lab created diamond.
