A new Costco just opened up near me in Marysville and I was going to get a membership but changed my mind after my experience today. My sister had a birthday party for her son in Paradise, and asked me to pick up her 6 pizzas she had pre ordered and paid for already at the Chico Costco. I tried to enter the store and was rejected by the spiked haired woman(?) at the door. I was told I have to have a membership to buy anything at the store and would not allow me enter. I informed her my sister has the membership and had already paid for everything so I wasn't buying anything, just picking up. She refused me entry once again, and I had to call my sister in Paradise to drive down to pick the pizza up herself. I won't be getting a membership now due to my experience with spiked hair door guarding woman(?)

This costco is one of the cleanest I have seen even the bathrooms. The selection is what you'd expect from a big box store with prices to match. There are a ton of employees who are all eager to serve as well making this a great all around experience.

Costco's word and customer service is going down the toilet when it comes to big ticket items. We recently had a issue with a washer and dryer that we purchased. The LG washer broke after after a couple of months and it took months to get our money back. Costco put the return on LG instead of handling it themselves. We decided to buy a new Casper mattress through them as they advertised they would hall the old one away when they delivered. The mattress got delivered today and the delivery guys said there there no room on the truck to take it and to call customer service to schedule a pick up. Called customer service and acted like it's no big deal that it happens. Now we have to have the mattress in our house until Tuesday. This is false advertising and poor service. Costco lost its care for the customer. Won't be buying any big ticket items from them anymore.

Costco remains a power option for bulk food options. Those inclined to buy enough for longer periods of time Costco has the quantities. Of course food is not the only category as clothing, appliances, office supplies, well, plenty of other services are readily available. With very few competitors membership does indeed has have its merits as most likely,for those who shop regularly, the price of admission is worth the price. Chico Costco seems to provide most of the items one would expect each time they stop by. Gets crowded at certain times of the day, but not impossibly so as in some very congested locations. 4 Stars.

I loved my costco experience. And the workers are great too, especially this short guy with a beard wearing a goofy t shirt and his taller friend with red hair they just lightened the mood oh and we're they handsome i would set them up with sister but you know their taken. and chelsea in the pharmacy, she was pretty and I had to wait a little longer for my prescription but her positive out look made it worth it I bet she likes buying her boyfriends kid a lot of stuff. -Lord Foreskin out

Not very impressed. The clothes are always a huge mess and everything. seems very unorganized. compared with the other Costco's I have seen, this one just is not run well.

We have been using the hearing aid department for several years now. We are kind of getting tired of Danny's rudeness and Carrie's grumpiness. They both make coming in not a pleasant encounter.

Couldn't get my hearing device cleaned cause I have to have a appt first to have a hearing test..I used to take mind in to have cleaned, but now I can't..I never needed a appt..they would just cleaned them for me.. plus the lady was so rude that she didn't get her lunch..would not recommend anyone to go there. Ladies are rude..

This Costco is probably the worst one to come to. Employees always seem annoyed or hate that they had to come in, food is always expiring as soon as you buy it, and the lack of consistency is always there. Trying to find someone to help you find something will probably be the biggest waste of time considering they'll always ignore you or say that they're out before even checking

I love this store don't get me wrong, but my main complaint is the lack of consistency when buying the same item repeatedly. I paid a lot of money for a package of the sliced beef roast to make beef jerky. It used to be thicker, I made jerky last night and it was so thin. It was like paper and just fell apart. It was also extremely fatty a complete waste of $45. I am extremely unhappy. I probably won't even be able to eat it. It's like eating fat, which basically it is. Also, I realized when I got home that the expiration date was the very day I bought it. Cutting it a little close.

I love everything about my local Costco Warehouse Store. The convenient hours, tire shop, huge selection, samples, hearing and optical departments, pharmacy, deli, roasted chickens, hot dogs, and more. Plus I feel secure when I am shopping there. A happy member since 1993!

Re tires: Buying the tires is a process. They recommend you go in person to purchase the tires. The line is a bit slow as they are understaffed. Then you make an appointment once the tires arrive. The appointment took an hour and a half. The next day my tire went flat on the freeway on-ramp at night with my husband and dog in the car. I drove on it flat for a short distance to move it to the shoulder. AAA put on my spare so I drove it back to Costco. They saw me immediately which was nice. They said the valve was defective, that they replaced the valve, but put my old tire back on. They wouldn't replace the tire after driving on it flat, stating they saw no damage. They offered for me to come back the next day to speak with a manager because I was concerned about the tire quality being compromised. I came back and they were expecting me. The manager was super nice and replaced the tire because of the circumstances. Five stars because I really appreciated their kindness and getting me all situated with a tire that hadn't been compromised. Thank you!!
