Since the dealership refuses to call me back I guess I will start here, head over to google reviews and then a formal complaint with the BBB. We left the dealership on 8/5/24 thinking wow… what a pleasant car buying experience… boy was I wrong. We obtained financing through the dealership and the cuddle program stating specifically we wanted the loan through our local credit union Members 1st, not an issue at all. Signed papers drove off into the sunset. Received a call a 5:30pm 8/16/24 from Cory H. telling us that members first needed to verify income, sure no problem, went first thing to the bank in the morning. Ended up making several trips between home and credit union due to issues in paperwork on the dealers end. On Saturday 8/17 received a notification that the dealership had ran a hard credit check. Nathan H. Then called asking if I wanted to do the loan through Capital 1. I returned his phone call, which ALWAYS goes to voicemail and let him know that I would like to follow up with Memebers 1st on Monday since it had been less that 24 hours since I submitted all requested paperwork to the credit union. I called the dealership repeatedly over the course of the next week and always got the voice mail box for Cory and Nathan, never a call back. Fast forward to Friday 8/23/24 and I get an email from Capital 1 congratulations my new auto loan. Again called Nathan and no return phone call. I am a small business owner I am happy to give a little grace but this has got to be one of the most poorly run dealerships in our area. A simple return phone call to keep me in the loop would have been appreciated. If this is any indication of how they treat customers after the sale I would encourage you to shop elsewhere where.

Recently, I went in for an oil change. Not even 5 miles later, I discovered about two quarts of oil spilled in my garage. I called the service center around 5:00 PM on Friday—they close at 7:00 PM—only to be told that I could bring my car back, but it wouldn’t be serviced until Monday. This was already frustrating.
They then informed me it would cost $1000 to fix the issue they caused, claiming there were separate parts that needed replacement. They refused to take responsibility or work with me on the repair costs. I was extremely disappointed with the service. The service manager, Barry, was unhelpful, leaving me feeling completely taken advantage of since they did not mention anything else wrong with my car after the inspection. An employee, Brandon, even said that’s why he doesn’t let anyone else work on his cars. Sounds like they knew they messed up.
If they had done the right thing and fixed their mistake at no additional cost, which costs them nothing, I would have remained a loyal customer. I was planning on upgrading to an Atlas but not anymore. I choose the dealership expecting quality service, even if it’s more expensive, but this experience was far from that. They even left tools under my hood.
Absolutely avoid this place—they are nothing but trouble. It’s worth driving to Niello in Sacramento instead! Worse car experience I have ever had.

Friendly folks and do a great job. Only downside is that they don't wash your vehicle when they finish their work.

Taken my vehicles here several times. Have had ok experiences until this last instance. Basically the Service Advisor quoted me $1107.00 for a repair on a covered part under warranty, that was only part of the problem. I declined because I wasn’t interested in “fighting” with them. Took the vehicle to Niello VW in Sacramento. And guess what? They found that that specific part was covered under warranty, but there was also another faulty part which was covered. I was so pleased with their honesty and effective diagnosis, I elected to have them do $1600 worth of maintenance work too. I’ve been treated acceptable by Chico VW service & parts, but never great like at Niello.

Nathan, was an amazing. I came all the way from Sacramento!! The guy knows his stuff. I came in fathers day wanting a used car that they had in stock. The guy is a magician he did an absolutely great job. I had a chance to speak with Aiden as well and he was just great. Best volkswagen dealership in north California. Will come back to get another car soon!!!

Emailed 50 days ago roughly with very specific information about what repairs I was looking for regarding a quote. Have recieved around 75 phone calls, along with emails, trying to get me to come in to "appraise and trade in my vehicle"
Have been extremely specific about the fact I want a quote for (xyz) services on my car and have basically been harassed at this point with the dealership trying to entice me to trade in my vehicle and buy a new one from them.
I have also written back several times notifying them that I solely want a quote for repairs and they have continued calling. Not sure what the deal is...
At this point I'm going to go elsewhere as the vibe and customer service is just off putting.

They get things done without a hassle or upsells. I believe they are doing what they say, hopefully. They put in extra effort to return my vehicle looking great!

I bought a 2020, Volkswagen Jetta Rline March 16th, for my birthday.
The Men that I inter acted with was amazing .
Thanks to Jesse, Caleb, Corey and Nathan..I felt like I was a princess. Every one of them that day was beyond awesome and very kind. I'm still on cloud 9 and and still fill great...hat's off to the amazing gentleman you have working for Chico Volkswagen dealership...thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Thank u for 36 point check, and topping off radiator fluid. The sensor was giving me A warning to check fluid level.
