I rented a unit from Chico U-Lock-It from March 2023 until January 4, 2024. The staff is great and the facility is conveniently located. I found the cost reasonable. Thanks!

Storage units in Chico are hard to come by so I was very happy to get one at Chico U Lock It. It is clean and well ran. They also have available RV Storage on site.

You will need a 30 day notice if you want to get stuff out. I know a family member who had her things here. She was injured and I kept trying to drop off her rental fee and the walk in was never open during hours.

Blasting late notices and emails to people who aren't even customers or live in their state! Likely a horribly mismanaged business. Look elsewhere.

Rented two units on the 1st. Moved out on the 15th would not refund any money. Told them from the start that I would only be there for 15 days. Gave the 30 day notice on the first. Charged for two processing fees even though it was one transaction. They took back possession of the units on the 15th. Manager would not refund any amount. The units have been subsequently released to someone else. No interior lighting. Limited access hours to interior hall units.

Staff is very friendly and the facility is kept clean. I love when they decorate for the holidays. I'm excited to see them finish painting. Wouldn't trust any other facility with my belongs.

Just rented a unit. Diego in the office was very helpful and courteous. The slider for the lock was stuck and he quickly appeared with WD-40. Works better now. Way cheaper than the storage facilities in Sacramento. Only drawback would be to have a stronger light in the unit.

Clean facility, but their office hours change without notice, now only 9 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. I am unable to access my storage space except during those hours. Significant difficulty because I work a normal schedule. Staff is non-responsive to questions or texts or messages.
