Terrible bought my son a twin size bed there most expensive one within a couple of days had to exchange it well fast forward not even two years ago the spring popped out of the bed while my child was sleeping verry dangerous, i am beyond upset this place sells unfit furniture.

I went in to purchase a love seat and sofa on August 31st hoping to see some good Labor Day inventory. I was helped by a salesman named Jon there who seemed very knowledgeable at first. He and another young man helped me to measure sets and find the set I wanted. I landed on one that they kept telling me was “very expensive”. I finally asked how much it was to purchase the set, and he threw out a number that I thought was more than reasonable. (Which made me feel defeated or d*** that they assumed I couldn’t afford it). I said that I would take a love seat and sofa and decided to add a console to the love seat as well, we agreed and Jon went to write up the final price. He came back with a lower price than he originally said, so I shockingly asked if that was for the whole set and he said it was because of the “Labor Day sale”. I delightfully paid for the couch and paid for it to be delivered. Jon told me I could have left with the sofa that day but I decided to have it all delivered at once since the loveseat was out of stock. Fast forward a few weeks and my delivery date passes by with no call. Finally I call the store and they tell me the set has been sitting there waiting, I asked why no one communicated that to me and the response was that Jon was on vacation. All I could think was, at my place of work when someone goes on vacation that doesn’t mean that we don’t take care of our customers, but I bit my tongue and the delivery date was set. Fast forward again, the delivery arrives with only a loveseat, not even with the console I ordered to go with it. confused about the remainder of my order I called to find out what had happened. Once again, all I was told was that Jon was gone on vacation and I’d have to wait to speak to him. I waited and waited for a call, and four days later I finally got it. Jon called and I asked if his co workers had filled him in on what happened. He played d*** and said they hadn’t. So I explained the situation and reminded him of the conversation he and I had when the sale was made. He said well what do u want me to do about it, the sale is what’s on your invoice. I asked if he remembered our conversation and he said he didn’t recall, then as time went on discussing he changed his story and said he thought I needed to go home and measure again so he only sold me one piece. I said oh okay then I understand if it was a miscommunication then just say so, I expected that he would apologize for the miscommunication and offer to sell me what I originally ordered and discussed. Instead he went back to saying he didn’t remember me and that he helps all kinds of people and he didn’t know what I expected of him. I said I expected better customer service and not to be called a liar when I have been nothing but patient. I said I didn’t think I’d like to proceed doing business with them, and he exclaimed “great! We don’t need your money so I’ll send it back and we will come get the couch. That’s easy for us.” And he hung up the phone. I will never do business with such a place again. I wish I knew who the owner was so I could tell them about this experience and how I was treated. I was more than willing to spend $4,000 on a couch if this man would have treated me with an ounce of respect and accepted that he made a mistake or tried to make it right. Outrageous customer service without so much as an apology. And the couch was over priced, I found the same one for a better price online which we will be buying in its place. Too bad, I would have liked to support a local business instead.

This is where you go to buy the cheapest possible furniture. If it's furniture for staging a house for sale, you're in the right place. If you plan on actually using it, go somewhere else. Very cheaply built !

My husband and I are in love with our new couch. We wanted a couch that was in store, but when we where ready to buy it was sold. They worked with us and got us exactly what we where looking for. Obsessed with this couch, will be added more pieces to it! I 100% recommend going here! Thank you guys so much!

Jon was very friendly and super helpful!! We had been looking for a couch/couches everywhere but just couldn’t find the right one. Well we found one with Jon and could not be happier!!! They have a good selection, are super fast with the paperwork and they helped us load everything up as well. Highly recommend!!!

We are thankful for the service at Chico Furniture Direct. We have had 4 family members also purchase from them as well and had great experiences. Today we got a new mattress delivered and the guys were phenomenal. Fast and friendly and wore booties as to not get my carpet dirty. We have a small house and Marco and Miguel were sure to not scuff up my walls. We have had movers in the past destroy our walls and not even apologize. The guys were friendly and thankful which made me feel like good customer service still exists. Big rave to those guys, thankyou. Job well done

I found the perfect couch for my living room for an amazing price! They delivered and even came back the same day to fix a few little snags on the fabric. I'm so happy I went out near Wood Bros to find them and see what they had. The staff were great and so helpful! Highly recommend especially in our limited furniture market in Chico.

I cannot say enough about this company in the store the manager Christina who was extremely informative and helped me when I had to cancel my purchase last minute after realizing what I had purchased wasn’t going to work in my home I called her and let her know what was going on she immediately got on her computer to reverse my purchase before it affected me or my account, she was very kind and reassuring while being professional and precise at the same time! I Will definitely be going back once I figure out what’s going to work in my house and I would absolutely prefer family and friends in a heartbeat❣️ To anyone reading this review I had a horrible experience at A furniture store called amazing finds in red Bluff California And to come to this furniture store Furniture Direct 4-U you was A breath of fresh air And definitely five star worthy❣️?????
