Love getting my gas here! This is the nicest and cleanest gas station. It's clean, well maintained and so easy to pull up to the pumps. The staff is friendly, professional and courteous and we appreciate the nice smiles that greet us! Great job Thornton Chevron!

Always always always always CLEAN! The station is always up to date, working pumps, window squeeze, paper towels, and it's well lit at night. I don't care they are "a little more" than other places, leaving here smiling and with a free car rinse is always a bonus.

I have lived in Chico my entire life and generally avoid Chevron because they're the most expensive for gas but recently I have discovered how great this place really is. I have had two different tires with slow leaks the past few weeks and their air pump is the BEST!!! You can just drive up and use it without having to pay or ask the attendant. It inflates your tires within seconds and has a working gauge. It just seems impossible to find air pumps that are reliable in this town... half the time they're out of order, etc. Also, the car wash is pretty decent and it's nice that it's free when you buy 8 gallons of gas. And lastly, their restrooms are clean and open. I thought I was going to pee my pants the other day and in the age of cOVID it's hard to find open restrooms... but theirs was open and clean. I appreciated it.

Oh my goodness... despite the gas is 50 cents higher than the average gas station in town, we opted to go for the carwash. $3 discount if you buy gas. Doing the math, get gas elsewhere and buy a car wash (or have your kids do it for free).Pulling up to the car wash was a horrible odor. I'm guessing by the smell the water being used is recycled but not filtered. It smelled like I was dribble my car directly into a sewage treatment plant. Gave 2 stars because I'm going to assume the people working here are nice even though we didn't go in. Needless to say, I'll be getting gas and car wash elsewhere in the future.

Three stars max due to employees and clean restroom. Two stars negative for charging 30 cents more per gallon than anyone in town for the "free carwash" which is a joke.

Never reviewed a gas station before. BUt I am because they go out of their way here. I have seen attendants help elderly women pump gas and wash windshields on more than one occasion. It's pricier than other stops in town, but it IS Chevron gas, so there is that. Air to fill up tires Is ALWAYS free and turned on ALWAYS. I don't have to ever get out of my truck to ask them to turn it on for me. Bathrooms are even clean and easily accessible. And I haven't even mentioned the free car wash when you get at least 8 gallons of gas. They should surely be praised for their patronage here
