Money is tight for everyone these days, making it more difficult for many to care for their pets. If you need pet food, these guys are there to help. I was able to get wet and dry food for my cats, all I had to do was ask.

I thought Butte Humane Society was supposed to care about humane treatment of animals, but from what I witnessed it was the complete opposite! After doing my research, I decided to visit. But when I got there, I was shocked and disgusted to see volunteers using prong collars on the dogs! This is NOT what I expected from a place that supposedly prioritizes the welfare of animals.
I ended up leaving and going elsewhere. If Butte Humane Society really cared about the well-being of dogs, they’d stick to the humane methods they preach about online instead of subjecting animals to outdated, harmful tools like prong collars. Absolutely unacceptable and misleading!

Adopted our new pup from here. We love her beyond belief, she's taken well to her new home. Lovely people, comfortable atmosphere, and a bunch of amazing dogs and cats. I highly recommend the Butte Humane Society if you're looking to add a new member to the family.

If it wasn't for the entire staff of angels at the Butte Humane Society my beloved Tinkerbelle wouldn't have made it. She required major dental surgery. From Bethany at the front desk always being so helpful and finding openings in the schedule to get her in sooner, to her nurse who gave updates the whole day of surgery and held my very shakey hand through it, to our very skilled doctor who saved her, I thank you for making sure my best friend is still with me. You all are superheroes and I can never thank you enough.

I adopted Meeka about a week ago and she has been amazing! The staff offered several tips for introducing a feline friend to a dog, their information has made it easy for both Meeka and my cat to adapt to each other’s company. I thank this amazing organization for making my experience adopting my first dog so lovely and welcoming ❤️
