“THE GOOD AND THE BADSo it started out as I got my Audi in an accident and I needed someone to fix the damage (see pictures). After stopping by about 4 body shop and each of them wanting to replace it new, I kind of felt like I didn’t need to replace it but it needed some love and work to it. I came upon this shop and the owner came instantly over I’d say within 5 minutes of arriving to come do an estimate and see whether or not his team would be able to do the job or not. After seeing what’s pictured, he was confident he was able to get it done and make it look good without having to replace with a new panel. I relayed to him I just wanted it to look good and prepped for painting, and I will do the rest. ( I have a buddy who owns a shop that can do that for me so I can save a few bucks ) that was also not an issue. Made an appointment, dropped the car off and got the work done. The work was completed and it was more than I could’ve asked for. It was perfect. ( see pictures ) He spent more time than expected on it but only charged me what was initially quoted saving me a few hundred bucks.The issue was when I picked up the car. I noticed my leather steering wheel was scratched. Huge scratch on the top and a couple around. After notifying the front, the owner immediately came over to check on it. He did deny his shop did it at first.Which I probably would as well if I felt like it’s something we couldn’t do. How does a steering wheel get scratched? Not sure but I do understand where he’s coming from. Thankfully, I got it back from a mechanic shop 2 days prior, then I got it detailed the day before dropping it off. So 2 different people seen it and they also were on my side stating that’s something they would’ve noticed and was not there when they seen it.It wasn’t even later that same day, the owner called me and purchased a brand new steering wheel for arrival ( which is not cheap for a 2018 Audi ). Not only did he purchase a new steering wheel, he also let me choose the shop of my choice to get the replacement done. And is paying for the labor for that. Honestly at first I did not want to recommend the shop, but I think that was just the moment like any person would be. But the way the owner and his business handled it was probably one of the best in Chico. Not only was the work A1 top tier body work, but the problem was handled and resolved promptly. I’ve called numerous times to check on the Status of the steering wheel, and I always got dealt with respectfully despite the situation. I have a future appointment to get my front door replaced which I was going to cancel, but I’m going to keep it and continue supporting this business. If anyone has any body work for any type of car, I’m going to recommend them here. And it’s like the only body shop in north Chico? Couldn’t beat it.”
“This was our first time being at this place. Matt Henry was very knowledgeable, nice and helpful. He came out to my car and paint match the color and also search the color code that was on the diver side door to make sure they match. Gave me options on paint and walk me through on how to paint and how many layers to put on. He even highlighted directions and makes mark on the mixing cup where and what products to used. We are very satisfied with the customer service. Me and my husband will definitely come back here for our paint need. If you need help or have questions his is the place.Thank you Matt for being patience with us.”
