Went to deposit a check and asked first how long the hold would be. The teller, Cesar (who was an absolute a** and very rude) gave me two dates that it would release. Even handed me a receipt with the dates. Now being told it will be another week until ANY funds will release. I have spoken to several customer service reps and they will not honor the original dates I was given and I now have to cancel a surgery I have had scheduled for 2 months as this $$ was being used as a deposit. Susan H. at the downtown bank was the only actual helpful person but her hands are tied. Go elsewhere!

Branch manager John SZABO is the type of underdeveloped embarrassment to knuckle dragging perpetuators of violence to women and children in our country where being poor, and disadvantaged school never stop my right in pursuit of happiness, health, and safety. My teller was excellent, displaying the characteristics of a gentleman with the sophistication his manger failed to develop, or recognize as success, yet Mr. SZabo did exude an over sized ego uncomfortably stuffed with the desperation to be the type of gentleman that mastered the finesse and complexity of business success and competition like the pathetic saddle shoes that had me feeling sorry for him at first. Being a patriot to my country, yet lacking the power he and men like him have, I am country, and would like to believe out of respect for an institution parading the name AMERICA, yet gains the interest off the disadvantaged in their country would maintain proper policy and judgement than the sorry, rude experience that my three year old daughter and I are taking a lesson from.......saddle shoes.

Trying to close my deceased father's account. BofA has made the process incredibly difficult and time consuming, unlike his other two banks which made the same process easy. Meanwhile, BofA is still charging my deceased father a $25/month service charge. My teller, "Leslie" became extremely rude when I asked why she needed to scan my driver's license in order for me to make an appointment to see a notary at the branch, and spoke to me as though I were some sort of problem customer because I asked. What an insult. This would never happen at my local US Bank branch. It's a state law in California that I have the right to know how my personal is being used. BofA will never get my business. For those of you who like this bank, have you ever banked anywhere else? There are MUCH batter banks out there. Google, where is the zero stars option??

What the actual "F" is going on over there? In the last 8 months I've noticed that the hardest workers are the tellers from the downtown branch (Jaime & Leslie) that was closed in March. The manager is an absolute train wreck. When she's actually there all she does is sit behind her desk and wait for the food to arrive. Where's the district manger? I realize that we all have to adjust because of COVID but this branch is an absolute mess. Come on Bank of America you're better than this! Looking forward to the downtown branch opening again where customer service is top priority.

Three days, not a single call has gone through. Apparently their policy is to ignore people that call.
