“Recently had a front bumper for my Maserati repaired and refinished by Mike Knight Customs. Being in the collision repair industry for 15 years ending in 2011, I was very carful who I had work on my car. Mike Knight was recommended to me by a paint rep, along with another company. After viewing Mike’s website and the cars he’s worked on in the past I felt comfortable taking my car to Mike. Paint match was on par which means his crew tinted the color perfectly which wasn’t easy cause it’s silver and the flop can be a silent killer. The clear coat hardly needed any color sand and polish in my opinion which means Mikes crew knows how to lay down clear to be glass smooth. So happy I took my car to Mike Knight Customs. Thanks to you and your crew Mike, that all made me feel very welcomed. Being a business owner myself, you’ve got it figured out.”

“Wow this dude rocks n recharged correctly my 4 deep cell batteries. After AutoZone told me go return then they tested bad. Never go to AutoZone again. Well off course the battery w show dead. Deep cells are made to go below 20% more then 200 times. Interstate knows what they are doing and the manager is always down for a joke or a laugh. Awesome ?”
“He's done work on my wife's Porsche on a couple occasions. Both were challenging being a Porsche, the 2nd being a full custom exhaust. Both were done quickly and at reasonable if not bargain priced considering how much Porsche exhausts run. He's also great at challenging welds.”

“THE GOOD AND THE BADSo it started out as I got my Audi in an accident and I needed someone to fix the damage (see pictures). After stopping by about 4 body shop and each of them wanting to replace it new, I kind of felt like I didn’t need to replace it but it needed some love and work to it. I came upon this shop and the owner came instantly over I’d say within 5 minutes of arriving to come do an estimate and see whether or not his team would be able to do the job or not. After seeing what’s pictured, he was confident he was able to get it done and make it look good without having to replace with a new panel. I relayed to him I just wanted it to look good and prepped for painting, and I will do the rest. ( I have a buddy who owns a shop that can do that for me so I can save a few bucks ) that was also not an issue. Made an appointment, dropped the car off and got the work done. The work was completed and it was more than I could’ve asked for. It was perfect. ( see pictures ) He spent more time than expected on it but only charged me what was initially quoted saving me a few hundred bucks.The issue was when I picked up the car. I noticed my leather steering wheel was scratched. Huge scratch on the top and a couple around. After notifying the front, the owner immediately came over to check on it. He did deny his shop did it at first.Which I probably would as well if I felt like it’s something we couldn’t do. How does a steering wheel get scratched? Not sure but I do understand where he’s coming from. Thankfully, I got it back from a mechanic shop 2 days prior, then I got it detailed the day before dropping it off. So 2 different people seen it and they also were on my side stating that’s something they would’ve noticed and was not there when they seen it.It wasn’t even later that same day, the owner called me and purchased a brand new steering wheel for arrival ( which is not cheap for a 2018 Audi ). Not only did he purchase a new steering wheel, he also let me choose the shop of my choice to get the replacement done. And is paying for the labor for that. Honestly at first I did not want to recommend the shop, but I think that was just the moment like any person would be. But the way the owner and his business handled it was probably one of the best in Chico. Not only was the work A1 top tier body work, but the problem was handled and resolved promptly. I’ve called numerous times to check on the Status of the steering wheel, and I always got dealt with respectfully despite the situation. I have a future appointment to get my front door replaced which I was going to cancel, but I’m going to keep it and continue supporting this business. If anyone has any body work for any type of car, I’m going to recommend them here. And it’s like the only body shop in north Chico? Couldn’t beat it.”
