The campground has a friendly, helpful staff that goes out of their way to assist guests, from helping with leveling RVs to providing extra blocks or extension cords. Many guests appreciate the beautiful scenery and the peaceful atmosphere, especially in the mornings, although it can be windy in the afternoons and the area is quite dark at night. Facilities include a token-operated, heated shower room, though the single bathhouse has seen better days. There are both short-term and long-term sites, with some seasonal campers making it their second home. The campground is popular on weekends, with many campers and tent sites located near the water. For entertainment, there is a playground and even a small on-site library. Cell service is good, although Wi-Fi is not available. Visitors value Peggy and her team for their excellent customer service, and many plan to return, appreciating the friendly environment, scenic views, and well-kept grounds.

This is a great place to camp. Be prepared for a lot of people on weekends. There are many campers, but the tent sites are next to the water. Also, expect calm mornings and windy afternoons.

My family and I had the best time here. The kids had a blast. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating.
