I didn't steal anything from these trifling disrespectful people I took the cushion out of the chair because the chair was trash and I decided to replace it with my own cushion I never said that they didn't do anything to my chair I said that they were trifling rude ignorant insolent and disrespectful if they wanted the raggedy cushion all they had to do was call me and they could have came and picked it up I have no use for it in fact by now I may have actually thrown it away !!! These people don't tell the truth because they don't have the capability of telling the truth they are absolute trash and that is how they treat their customers they lied to me and were rude and disrespectful and they're just mad because I left a review telling the truth!!! West Coast Medical should be ashamed of themselves!!!!! Evil lying racist miserable liars!!!! And the owner is so pathetic his response is full of lies I gave them the review that I gave them based on my experience and as I said earlier had they not been so disrespectful they would have called and asked for their cushion I don't want their cushion they're cushion is garbage I have much better cushions on my own which is what I replaced for the few days that I had that horrible chair the chair was so archaic big wide foot pedals I couldn't even use it in my apartment it can barely get through the front door so it definitely couldn't get through the bathroom or the bedroom doors he's completely lying about the situation but I'm sure that the people who work for him they are also Liars so that's probably the information that he got from them bottom line is this these people are not worth the time the energy the exhaustion or a second thought yes West Coast Medical is horrible I mean who tells the customer the first time customer who's had no dealings with him after they've had their wheelchair for 5 days I had to call them to find out the status of my wheelchair and when I was trying to see when I would get it back I was told by Jennifer that they could return my wheelchair without the wheels if I like and they expect me to give them a good review no that's what happened and I'm telling the truth imagine taking your car to a mechanic and when you call to find out what's going on with your car because they've had it five days and did not even have the character or the professionalism to contact you and let you know anything and when you call to find out what's going on they say well you can pick it up without the engine if you like that is rude that is insulin ignorant trifling and disrespectful and that is what you get with these people in fact I found that nasty looking cushion so Mr owner if you want that little trifling raggedy cushion that I have absolutely no use for I didn't even want to touch it let me know and I'll leave it outside my door and you can have your boy pick it up or I could toss it over the balcony and he can pick it up from there whatever works for you because I have no interest in being bothered with you people ever again and I will continue to let everyone know my experience with you people and hexie and Jennifer are absolute trash.

Had a great experience. Carlos was very helpful without being hard sell. I got a scooter and lift. Installation took about 3 hours and they even took me home while they worked on car. I had originally gone elsewhere and they were shady. I highly recommend this shop..

This company takes advantage of seniors and those with disabilities. They take their money and bill medi-cal for services not even offered. They "install" incorrect devices and then go MIA once you need their help fixing their work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I had an excellent experience renting a knee scooter when I broke my foot —I needed one immediately and no other medical supply had one available . When I called , the woman who answered said they were out of stock but she would check the warehouse . She took the extra time and effort to find one for me and hold it until I got there . It was over an hour drive but worth it . The staff is very kind and considerate . I did not experience anything like the other reviews here .

This is by far the worst, unprofessional and unorganized place I have ever seen.We have ordered a wheelchair for my 91 year old mom more than 2 months ago. We have been there several times. Every time they said we are missing a document and we prepared it for them. About 2 weeks ago, we went there and they finally said everything was ok and they will call us to pick it up in 3-4 days. They never called and when we went there, they started over and claimed we are missing documents. My mom is traveling today and needs the wheelchair but after more than 2 months of waiting and going there back and forth, she doesn’t have one.

Terrible terrible terrible don't get close to them.. they are bunch of liars I rented a wheelchair drove all the way from Glendale to there to pick it up, I come back home to take grandma to her appointment the next day, I put her on it and the rubber on the wheel came off and could not roll her.. so I ended up carrying her to the car and back again and return the wheelchair to them and explain the issue they told me a technician needs to look into it, I didn't get a call for two weeks I had to call multiple times to follow up... after all that she tells me that the technician which he is also the owner says there is noooo way that's our fault.. so not only they are blaming me for taking the rubber off but also have terrible customer service.. if you don't want headache please stay away from them

I had my chair repaired at west coast . The staff and manager Carlos were very nice and worked with me on bill so l could get my chair . Great job !!!

This company is awful and has put our family in a terrible situation. They were hired to repair the motor of my sister-in-law's hospital bed. She is a quadriplegic and her nurses rely on a fully functional bed to care for her properly. The repair should have taken 2 weeks but West Coast Medical dropped the ball, and our constant calls for updates were answered with "you'll get it in 2 days." These delays lasted for 3 additional weeks. Their list of excuses included losing the motor in their Georgia office, production delays, and blaming FedEx on the delivery. When the motor was finally re-installed we discovered that the bed's remote wasn't returned, so the bed still didn't work. West Coast Medical's approach was to blame US for losing the remote, then telling us we had to pay an additional $80 to replace the remote that THEY lost. We spent hours on the phone arguing with their staff and trying to find out where our remote was and who was going to pay for replacing it. We repeatedly asked to escalate our problems up to the owners, Carlos and Rosalina Ortega, but they refused to speak with us and we realized that THEY were the ones insisting that we pay for their mistake. How unethical for owners of a medical supply company to blame their customer and try to stick a Medi-Cal patient with the cost of their mistake. Eventually their manager found a remote and installed it this week, but after they left we discovered it was the wrong remote and the bed is still not fully functional. Only after we told them that we would start writing reviews on their company did they finally agree to ship us a new remote from their Georgia facility and waive the installation cost. But as I write this five weeks have passed and we still don't have a remote, the owners have still never called, offered an apology, or provided any explanation for their failures. The only silver lining has been Jessica, a staff member who does understand how to provide compassionate customer service, but was placed in the impossible situation of constantly having to deliver the owner's unreasonable excuses and demands. Don't believe the hype on their website. This company fails the honesty test and would rather leave their customers stranded while stiffing them for a few extra bucks.

STAY AWAY. This is (ongoing) the worst experience of my life. I had polio in 1951. I walk with a full leg brace and use forearm crutches. My shoulders are shot from overuse. My doctor gave me a prescription for a scooter just to get me back and forth from my bed to the bathroom. It's been 6 weeks. They ignore my calls for up to a week, then call my doctor for more information. They have done this 4 times.

I have never had such great customer service like this for a long time. Hetzi, the company rep I was working with constantly updated me as to the progress she was making with the doctors . She reached out to them as needed. If I had to leave a message for her she would call back almost immediately . She was knowledgeable , professional, courteous, helpful and kind. Though I'm sure there are other such employees at west coast, because of Hetzi I wouldn't work with anyone other than west coast medical. Thank you Hetzi !

I chose this company to service my scooter and when it came time to change back to power chair, west coast worked their magic and I got my new power chair yesterday. I can't thank you enough!!! Thank you Carlos, your a real pro!!

West coast medical helped repair my grandpa's power chair about two months ago and no other company could actually find what was wrong with it. They even installed a lift for me in my car. They recently called me to follow up if everything was still well, it was well appreciative for them checking up on us. Haven't met a dme company who cares about their patients or customers' needs until I came here. I'm very happy I found this company. Staff is nice and friendly. The owners are very understanding. This is the company to go to for any medical supplies and repairs. Won't regret it (:

West Coast Medical is the place to go when looking for medical supplies. They helped me with all my needs when it came to helping my grandparents. They installed a lift on my car to make it easier to take my grandmother's chair around. They offer a fast turn around time when it comes to repairing chairs. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on their medical supplies. Would highly recommend to buy your medical supplies from here as their prices are affordable. Great family owned company.

West Coast Medical Equipment was as good as it gets when it came to assisting my family and me with a wheelchair for my father. I called around and many companies did not even accept orders that had to be billed through Medicare. Rosalina and staff, were incredible about handling EVERYTHING including reaching out to his doctor and preparing the paperwork so that Medicare would accept it on the first try. They made this transaction very easy, and it was a pleasure to work with them. Very highly recommended.
