This place is great. I thought I had a trans problem with my Challenger, but I was wrong. The folks there took care of me anyway. If I ever do need trans work, I will definitely be back.

Ron is a straight up, honest and hardworking merchant who thrives on customer service. I have been going to Ron for all my transmission needs. I just had my 4L60E Transmission rebuilt on my 1997 Suburban LT and 1999 Tahoe 2Door LT. With his experience and knowledge of transmissions I just passed 505,000 miles on my Suburban and 190,000 miles on my Tahoe.

Crooks of the higher caliber. Called them on a Tuesday because my car was clunking when put into reverse and was told to bring it on in, they could take a look at it tomorrow. Brought it in 8am the next morning, Wednesday, and went all day and heard nothing about them looking at it or a time frame. Called them Thursday morning to get an update and was told it wasn't a transmission problem, it was the motor mounts and they'd have an estimate for me by the end of the day. Never got a call from them. Friday, I called and they said they were short staffed and would have an estimate for me by the end of the day. I asked them which mounts needed to be replaced, because I looked at my records and I had the replaced just 2 years ago. They told me they'd have to put it back up on the rack and call me back. They never did. Waited till Monday and went TO the shop to talk to them. They told me they'd have an estimate for me in an hour, but it is 2 mounts and shouldn't be more than $500, I said call me when you have an estimate and an answer for which mounts need replacement. They never did. So, went back to the shop at 5PM, and asked my husband to go with me because the shop owner, Ron, was talking me in circles and I cry when I get frustrated. Got there and they had it up on a rack working on it. Without ANY authorization or estimate. I told them they need to give me my car, I did NOT authorize any repairs and hadn't even been given an estimate! They said they had already replaced 2 of the 5 mounts and to just take my car with the new parts. Looked under the hood myself before I left and they had left my air box/filter loose, I put it back on myself and drove it to my regular mechanic to be checked out.

Runnnnn.. biggest mistake, you cal to get updates on your car and there always excuses. They say someone will call you and it never happens . You get put on hold and then the lady who answers has a excuse oh Ron is not there. Then I call and they tell me after a week later my car has not been put on the rack yet . But yet 3 days before supposedly it was almost done. Terrible business practice, if you can't handle the job just say it.

Ron has been attempting to fix a transmission in my Dodge ram for 6 months and cannot fix the issue. I've wasted dozens of hours, hundreds of dollars in gas and missed thousands of dollars in work bringing my truck back to Ron for repair. Today is the 26th of January 2023, and it is still not repaired and he still does not know what the issue is, and is desperately calling other people for answers.This has been a major inconvienice in my personal and professional life. I can no longer commit time to Ron and his staff to spitball ideas about what might be wrong with my vehicle.I would NOT recommend this shop in any capacity for a dodge diesel truck. I can not comment on any other vehicle.Service: Transmission

My beloved 99 Toyota Corolla started jumping out of 5th gear. It has 250,000 miles on it. I figured this is going to cost me big money. After getting some estimates- confirming big money! I remembered TRC in Chatsworth. I worked in Chatsworth for many years and would see the race cars painted on the side of the building on my commute. So I took my Corolla in for a estimate. Was quite surprised when Ron knew about Corollas having this issue. We walked out and Ron looked and confirmed that it could be fixed without removing the transmission- just the “end cap” and he quoted me a price. It was much much lower then what I expected. I picked it up yesterday and it drives wonderfully! Shifts smoothly and is quiet. I’m totally satisfied and happy and my wallet is too.Service: Transmission

TRC saved my transmission after my Lexus dealership ruined it with an incomplete and careless transmission fluid exchange. TRC allowed me to keep my car (which I love) rather than having to buy a new one. Ron even called the next day after I had picked up my car to ask how it was running. No one has ever done that before. Totally "old school" ethics. Ron also took the time to review and prioritize other recommended repairs for my car. TRC also helped my daughter with her classic 1964 Gran Prix Pontiac. Very high quality work performance. Thank you TRC!
