“I started getting my shoes at Fleet Feet way back when it went under a different name (Phedipides. I'm 110% certain I spelled that incorrectly) to address a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis from my podiatrist. I'd never go anywhere else. The staff are always wonderful and the selection of shoes is vast. Plus, if not for Fleet Feet I never would have discovered the wonder of the footwear which goes by the name of Hoka!”

The guy is a subject matter expert, so informative and clearly passionate about proper running sneakers customized to your particular foot without compromises. He didn’t try to upsell me at all, instead he treated me like a friend who genuinely cared about my well being and comfort. Before I walked out I had the pleasure of meeting Matt who was a phenomenal guy who clearly cared about his customers. They scanned my feet free of charge to make sure I got the perfect fit. “It's been awhile since I have been to a retail store to pick up a paddle or racket! And truly the only way to get outfitted with the best fit, unless you tried a demo, is to go to a store and experienced in person! With a recommendation from a fellow pickleball mate, I ended up at this store in downtown Calabasas! From the start, I was greeted very kindly by the store manager and a fellow staff member! The manager was very knowledgeable of the paddle trends, the game and fit for players! The store had many choices in stock, and others could be had quickly from vendors! The store had a Black Friday deal going on and demo paddles for half off! Many thanks for the manager in letting us know these deals! The purpose of this trip was for a paddle but was almost lured into buying a tennis racket too; the store offers the top brand of rackets! Also you can get your rackets stringed here! Hard to find that service these days! With great service, conversation and honesty provided, we will definitely be back and tell our friends about this gem! Plus the parking in downtown was a perk on farmers market day!”
“So I went online and booked an appointment to get fitted for irons. When I got there, the kid in the back who is working the the booths didn’t even know I was coming. He didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. He wasn’t very enthusiastic at all. When I started my fitting, he had no idea what I wanted. He asked me what kind of clubs I wanted, and I said I want the fitting to tell me. While he was fitting me, he was helping several other customers. It was not a personalized experience at all. I did find a club that I hit better than others, I wanted to try other brands, but he sure didn’t offer. I asked him if I needed any modifications to a standard set of clubs and he said probably not. He didn’t seem eager to customize the set for me at all, seems like he just wanted me out of there. I did decide to purchase a set of irons but now I’m having second thoughts. $1000 for a set of irons then I went to the front to pay, there were three guys at the registers just chitchatting. They didn’t ask how my experience was. They didn’t really seam to care. They were too busy talking about football then to ask how my fitting went. There was not very many people in the store that day so I thought I would get a little more attention, but I guess not. I’m only giving it two stars because I found a set of clubs that I like thanks to hitting them in the booth, but if it came to customer service, I would give it one star. I have friends that we’re gonna go get fitted and now I’m telling him not to go there because of this experience.
Update: After a few days of leaving my review, the regional manager reached out to me and was very apologetic about the situation. This store was not staffed to do a proper fitting at the time I went. The customer service I experienced with the regional manager was excellent. She reminded me of a time when merchants went above and beyond to take care of customers. I would like to publicly thank her for reaching out to me and helping me turn this experience into positive one. With that I would have no problem continuing to do business with Roger Dunn and recommending others also. Thank you.”

“I stopped by this Boarders store inside Northridge mall while my wife was shopping. I knew they would have skateboard here so I wanted to check out what they had. The store is a decent size on the second floor near the men's Macy. They were not busy on a Friday night and they have a decent amount of skateboard and skateboard accessories here. The prices of the board were reasonable and I also looked at some of their shirts. Nothing grab my attention so I didn't purchase anything. I also looked at their sunglasses selection at the front of the store but I prefer Oakley brand.”
“Walking through the mall people that are working in the stores are so rude and unfriendly. The boys that are working in this store today were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us! This was today 09/03/23 at 2:30pm. We need more people like this at retail stores. Thank you!”
“As soon as I walked in, I was effectively directed, guided and advised. I wanted a new BB gun and stopped at Turners first because I figured a firearms dealer would also have great BB guns.
As it turned out, Big 5 had a far more impressive and comprehensive inventory beyond my expectations. Buying too many things quickly became a concern for me.
The best part about my visit was Brenda’s knowledgeable and effective assistance.
Brenda answered my questions with ease, clear familiarity and confidence. It was impressive. I left with a BB gun that is a replica of the Glock 19X—which I didn’t even know was available. I am very happy with my purchase. 5 stars.”
“I stopped by this Adidas store inside Topanga Mall yesterday to just look at what they have. I wasn't planning on buying anything but seeing any new shoes design or clothing. When I walked inside, a worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told him I was just browsing so he left me be. I saw some nice shoes that they had and also some nice materials for the sweat pants. The store isn't that big but they have a decent amount of stuff here.”
“Good size store. Huge free parking lot. Wheelchair access. It's on the ground floor. They always have some sales going on. They carry more than just shoes and there's also a clearance area tucked away. Ask about that when you go in. There are good customer service and if you need help just ask. Sometimes they'll even ask. Also this is a brand new store open less than a year. I definitely recommend this particular WSS. Very easy and friendly.”
“What a great soccer shop in the heart of the valley. These days finding a good soccer store is really hard to do, especially given the fact that Soccer is blossoming so much in the states.
This store serves as a primary team jersey shop for most of the teams in the San Fernando Valley, they have tons of authentic and replica jerseys, and a good selection of soccer boots.
They are always friendly and ready to help if you have any questions or needs .”

“Update: I appreciate the response from Julie. I like a company that pays attention to their reviews. I've changed my one star review to 4 because of the reply, and I'll give the store another try. I used to shop here a lot but hadn't been in for a while so last week when I was in the shopping center for something else, I went in since I need a couple of new pairs of sneakers. It was about 4:30p on a weekday so there were no other customers, just me and three employees. I walked around for a while and looked at all the women's shoe. I walked past each employee twice and not one of them made eye contact or spoke one word to me the entire time I was in the store. I took the hint and left without purchasing any of the shoes I wanted. Perhaps sales is not the avenue you should pursue.”
