you have to be of a certain stature to have your car electrical done here., I have a Hyundai Elantra with what seemed to be electrical issues. Was told twice to call next week, 2 mos Iater and my car is worse now.Corvettes, showcars, beauties worth $_come here and be treated highly .Elantra s get nothing. Which is all good- it's his business but put it out there that if you're not high end,you're not getting helped.

I brought a Toyota SUV from this used car dealer that had intermittent electrical problem and the check engine light would stay on after driving it after a while. I took my truck to Soto’s Automotive, and he was able to pin point every problem and explain in detail the cause and solutions to every issue. He is the most competent mechanic you will every need. I also had him look at my second SUV. My Ford SUV had transmission shifting problems and a check engine light. I told it to a transmission shop and they suggested that I get the check engine light problem fixed first and recommended a mechanic shop that said I need a new engine. I took my SUV to Soto’s Auto for a second opinion and he was able to troubleshoot and do all the repairs without purchasing an engine.

It's been One year and nine day's since this shop so called fixed the transmission code of P0700 and P0777. This is a 2011 chevy suburban. Today the shop was notified it has been one year and nine day's since the fix and today the same codes are showing. They told use that it's been one year and they will not fix it. NINE DAY'S after the one year mark. If you were the shop owner What would you do!? This is not a cheap fix. 1,323.00 is the cost. This shop ether wrongfully missed the real problem or just didn't fix it in the first place. The owner or manager who answered the phone hung up on me when pressed with questions.

Updated review: May 6, 2020. I gave Jesse @ Soto's Automotive a stellar review before so here is an updated one. Jesse has been a stand up guy who's taken care of both my vehicles over the last few years. He's had to fix what other mechanics messed up or had done half-assed. It's very hard to find someone to trust because every place/ person will diagnose your issue differently. First: Soto's automotive is a clean place. No loose parts, bolts, wires, liquids, or trash on the floor. The restroom was even kept clean and organized. That speaks volumes about the pride and work ethic of the owner. That applies to any business. I only wish his shop was closer to my home but it's always worth the effort because I know he'll correct anything promptly and courteously. Give him a try. Your car is worth it.

Jesse Soto is a very good mechanic and very good with his work, and very generous with his time and his advice. He knows what he is doing. He took over from Jay a while back, and I've known Jay Taylor for years; he's been a go-to automotive mechanic for my neighbor and myself for more than 20 years. Jesse is cut from the same cloth. I'm impressed and I recommend that you use him. (the fact that I have two old Saturns that are both temperamental and hard to source parts for has nothing to do with it...)

I found Jesse @ Soto's Automotive through a word of mouth referral. I needed someone who had experience with older Chevrolet vans such as mine. It's also a heavily modified, lifted four wheel drive van that presents many challenges to average mechanics who typically shun these hard to work on classics.
