I don't even know where to begin with these guys. Their customer service is awful. They have zero urgency and they don't care. I understand it's hot and they have a lot of calls, but to leave your customers in a worse position after they call you and you take their money? Please spare me the sob stories of how you lost three technicians. If you're unsure if you can take/schedule the job then don't do it. Long story short. We have an old HVAC and don't expect miracles. We just needed someone to come and check on the strange noises we were hearing and hopefully help improve air flow as much as possible. Had a guy come out (WAY late to his appointment window by the way. They told us 12-2 and he showed up at 5:30pm). He told us we needed a spare part and he didn't have the size we needed but he would try and come back tomorrow. We notice after he leaves that our AC is no longer working. It's in a worse state than before we called them, but no big deal. We assume they'll come back and fix as soon as possible because they said they would.Tomorrow comes around. They don't call. We call them. They don't have availability. Fine. They'll show up the next day between 5 to 7pm. Appointment scheduled! Great. Next day happens. My fiance and I have had to change our work schedules and move things around in order to make sure they can come out and have access to our roof. 5pm hits. They cancel the appointment. We call them again. They can't guarantee they can send someone out tomorrow but they'll call us in the morning to schedule.They don't call us this morning. We have to call them. They say they'll call us back. They don't until just now. They act like they didn't know their guy didn't show up last night. What is this? I don't want to play phone tag with a company that told us they would help us out. Now you're lying to me? We have been nothing but patient and accommodating and they treat us HORRIBLY and leave us with a health hazard. If we don't get this fixed we won't be able to stay in our home when it's over 100 degrees. It will hit triple digits next week. Our HVAC was at least somewhat working before we called these guys. They show up, we pay their service fee, and they make it unusable. We now have no AC and are calling around desperately to get a different company to come out and make sure we survive the heat wave. It's incredibly stressful and frustrating. They clearly don't care about their clients at all.

Zac arrived to check for a suspected leak in our HVAC system. Zack was very professional, , and knowledgeable.walking is through his systems check and answering our questions. Luckily we didn’t have a leak! I would have no hesitation requesting Zac if we have trouble w our HVAC in the future.Service: HVAC system repair

I used them once before and hated the service. Then they sent out Jose Estrada. Jose is the consummate professional and is always giving you the best recommendations along with a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Jose!

I had a new HVAC system install by another company and have been having problems for about a year before I reached out to service genius to get a quote for repairs. The previous company has attempted repairs 8+ times and still did not get any results so eventually I decided to get some second opinions. Zack came out from service genius to try to diagnose the issues with my system and immediately just at looking he was able to see problems with both the install and the material that resulted in my system not functioning correctly for about a year. If you have ever dealt with a bad contractor who did a bad job you can imagine the relief I felt after Zack was able to point out the potential problems with the install that other contractors were not able to do even after multiple attempts with various companies. I have had my home for about a year and given how much of a fixer upper it was I have being working with lots of contractors. Zack has been by far the most knowledgable and trustworthy person that has done work on my property. I would use service genius again just because of how impressed I was with Zack's work (y'all better be giving this man a raise). After the repairs were complete the system has been working better than it has before. I didn't even realize how poorly it was working before Zack fixed it until I was able to use it after a proper install. Not to sound dramatic but this felt like a gigantic relief on my sanity especially that summer is on the way here in socal. The time/effort/stress I have spent dealing with the previous company has been a nightmare (still ongoing with the contractor board and bond) but now at least I get to have heating and cooling . Recently I had my bi-annual service checkup of my Daikin AC by Service Genius. I usually like to know how my system is performing. If had a question, Jose would explain to me clearly what he was doing. I mentioned to him that I noticed a foggy ring around my Daikin One+ thermostat display that didn't look good. Jose took a picture of it and said to give him a few days to look into it. To my surprise, about a week later I received a text from Jose saying that he would be by to replace the thermostat at no charge. I plan on renewing my service contract with Service Genius and will definitely request Jose for future checkups.

Jose came and serviced our heater today. He was efficient and thorough, repaired our heater, and was a pleasure to work with. We will be reaching back out to him in November to follow up on additional repairs.

They scheduled two appointments with me. First one, NO SHOW and rescheduled. Second one, they forgot about it. These people are really inconsiderate and unreliable. FINALLY JOE URRUTIA HUSSLED OVER And SAVED THE COMPANY'S REPUTATION

Following up from 10 months ago. I was told for the charges I paid included a maintenance package for 5 years. This would allow my AC/heater to work efficiently because they would have scheduled maintenance. I have missed the last two maintenance visits because right at the last moment the technician canceled due to some emergency. Today it is 87°. I have no AC and when I called them the soonest appointment I can get is five days from now. The fact that they push on getting the maintenance package, but do not honoring the service and efficiency of my unit is beyond me. Poor business practice. Loved these guys! Responsive and honest on the phone. Joe thoroughly looked at my HVAC system and presented the ways I can repair it most economically. The tech was nice, but he damaged the ceiling tiles. Cracked a tile and tried to wipe condensation stain on another tile and made it look worse. He did not mention these issues before he left and I noticed when I checked. Would be nice if the ceiling tiles can be replaced.Services: HVAC system maintenance

I regret doing business with this company. I bought a brand new unit in November that has broken twice already. Also they don't take emergencies on the weekends. Please stay away from this company horrible service.

Great experience from the start and end, after contacting to fix our AC unit. They arrived right on time and do their job thoroughly which makes me pleased with the result. They didn't just fix our AC but also performed maintenance and explain the process of their work. Excellent customer service. Fantastic to work with.
