Great hotel, clean rooms, good location, very friendly staff

I would not stay at this hotel again.
Upon check in the first night, our first room was on the 1st floor. The room had a dead cockroach inside the room and a spiderweb up the back of the door. Not sure the rooms are thoroughly cleaned.
I went down to the desk and got switched to a second room. The second room was heavily smoked in. The hotel advertises as "smoke free". I can't believe the cleaning staff cleaned the room, then did not make note of the smoke smell to make it unavailable to guests.
I then had to go BACK DOWN for a switch to a third room. The third room seemed fine night 1.
On the second day (the day that was of only importance to me because I had a wedding to get ready for), a lightbulb went out in our bathroom mid-shower AND the outlet in the bathroom did not work. I had to do my hair the whole stay at the desk because the bathroom outlet did not work.
After returning from the wedding, I told the front desk staff, who referred me to the general manager. The general manager was extremely rude, and no customer service skills and acted as if I was a problem or a bother. He questioned why I did not call them immediately about the outlet/light bulb and was not understanding of the fact that I was rushing to get ready for a wedding, which was my #1 priority. He told me he would see what he could do and only offered me a $50 discount on one night's stay - which seems VERY low to me for all the troubles I had endured at this hotel.
The 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the staff, besides the GM. Mida, in particular, was FABULOUS. So friendly, knowledgable, and a true asset to their team. She was wonderful. After hating my stay at this hotel, and made up for it with how hospitable she was and is truly the only reason I'm doing this review. She was so friendly. 10/10 starts for Mida.

We listed a review on Expedia as a 4 rating after our travel to California for the Jeffree Star Grand Opening for second MakeUp&Meat location but somehow it got listed as a 1 (terrible). That's incorrect as we rated a 4 and we wanted future travelers to know the staff was friendly and professional and the location offered great amenities and it's in a convenient location not far from event location, shopping, and eating establishments.
Rooms: Very clean, spacious, and quality.
Nearby activities: Shopping, dining, and other things close by.

We loved every bit of this day from the architecture of the building to the employees to the view of the mountains off to the side truly enjoyed or stay here and the service was incredible

My husband stayed 2 weeks at this hotel. Room was clean. Food was excellent.
Grace at the bar was helpful and Moises
his frequent morning waiter was wonderful!!
Would recommend this hotel!

COCKROACH IN MY BATHROOM!! Called the front desk to ask for help (bring bug spray, I am deathly afraid of roaches) and they said they have no one to send. I had so much anxiety getting ready in the bathroom for work in the morning. Worse customer service and disgusting/unacceptable room condition.

We (family with 4 kids) stayed here during our "western adventure" two week long trip. My daughter kept a rating sheet of all the hotels we stayed at and this made the top of all of our lists. The rooms were so nice and clean, (and it was the only hotel I took my shoes off in) and the staff and manager were so kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance!

Me and my business partner needed a quick and nice place to stay while in town for 2 days. They were very accommodating and let me check in an hour early. The rooms were clean and I liked how it had my name on the TV screen when I came into my room. Definitely staying here again next time I’m in town.

This is a newly renovated hotel that has been open a couple of months. There is a restaurant on site. (I did not visit restaurant.)
I have someone coming and the reviews were so mixed, I had to go visit myself. The lobby did have a funny smell, but it was being mopped while I was there. I looked at a room and there was no smell. It is new renovated and looked great.
There was a language barrier at the front desk, but they offered me cookies on the way out.
All and all, it is a great looking Hotel and being newly renovated it's like being in a new hotel room.

The staff here is not trained well every time, myself or one of my coworkers stay here we have the same issue with them not knowing the rate we paid for. We show them the proof we always have to call corporate for them to honor the rate that we purchased, I do not recommend staying here if you don’t have time to go back-and-forth at least an hour every morning to get your breakfast, the customer service here is unacceptable
