I would leave 10 stars if I could. When I first thought about modifying my 911, I was really skeptical on who to take it to. I found R1, and let me tell you: These guys are the most professional, kind, responsive, and overall fantastic people for any kind of exotic car modifications you want to do. I was very straight up to the point on what I wanted to do to my 911 at first, but these guys took it five steps further, and made it into some thing even better than I thought of doing in the first place. It's by no means cheap l, I'll say that; But you literally get what you pay for. Not in just a sense of quality parts and service, but you get friendly people, and you can call anytime or text them for updates on the car and it's progress. Special shout out to (Hov, Jimmy, and Kaden!) They'll also give you their honest opinion on whether or not a part is quality, worth doing, worth paying for, or if there's something better you can do with your money. They're also very straight up on where each dollar you spend is going, whether that be labor or the part itself. What's cool too is that the other cars they were working on made my car look like nothing, but they were really hyped to work on it considering it was just a stock 911 Carrera S. I had a lot of detail work done to the car, the entire car PPF wrapped, a full powder coated cage, exhaust, new painted wheels, and many other things; They got it done in only four weeks! I gave Hov a time I needed it done by, and we actually got it done a day early. They even detailed the car for me. Putting your car in the hands of somebody else is pretty scary, but if you take it to R1, it'll leave better than it ever was before.

It wasn't that Shop. I took my Volvo C70 Convertible to CHATSWORTH AUTO UPHOLSTERY! Ask for Javier, what a nice and professional man! They did an excellent job at reattaching my interior headliner! After taking my car to several different Auto Repair Shops, I CAN NOW GO TOPLESS AGAIN I AM SO HAPPY! MY O7 ONLY HAS 41,000 Miles, she's so perfect now! Next, my driver's seat has gotten a little sun weathered that's next! I have found out that no one really wants to repair your Convertible Roof, Volvo, Ford Auto Sports, and two other's SAID NO! If you're seeking quality work, attention to detail and great quality work, Jimmy is your man. They wrapped my car and did a full blackout and even had me bring it back for re-inspection couple weeks later to make sure everything was perfect.

This is an update from my previous review: Kept hearing a rattling from the exhaust while the engine was on. Took the car to a reputable exhaust shop. Discovered several spots where Jimmy had welded that had come loose (cracked). The shop re-welded these spots. Rattling is gone now. Discovered poor quality work (welding) performed by R1Motorsport, more specifically Jimmy the "owner" that had to be repaired by a shop that actually knows what they are doing! Once again I highly regret taking my Porsche to Jimmy Overcharged for sloppy work!! Previous review: R1 Motorsport more specifically Jimmy the owner will rip you off. Don't waste your time taking your car here you will regret it just like I did! I had Jimmy install a after market header and exhaust on my Porsche. First of all he took way too long to do the job and kept making excuses as to why it wasn't ready when he promised. Finally he notified me it was ready for me to pick it up. I dropped everything and went to pick up my car. I could tell something was up because Jimmy wouldn't look at me in the eye and just wanted me to pay the balance. So I did and left. On my way home I got a "check engine" light so I immediately took it to the Porsche dealership. I just figured it must be something unrelated to the work Jimmy had done. Long story short they informed me that the header gaskets were leaking exhaust and needed to be replaced. I found this odd because Jimmy had just worked on the headers. What happened was that Jimmy reused the old gaskets instead of installing new ones like he should have!! Everyone knows you do not reuse these gaskets so Jimmy knowingly reused them to put more money in his pocket instead of doing the job correctly. I have to wonder where else Jimmy cut corners to maximize his profits? That's all he apparently cares about. So yes I got ripped off. There's no excuse for this blatant shoddy work on a customers valuable car. That was a very dishonest thing to do so I will never take my car or any other car to Jimmy at R1 Motorsport again!!

Once again Jimmy Is the ultimate gentleman, I had a check light on my GT3 , because my battery died , I took it to him , he fixed it in a jiffy , and wouldn't charge me for his knowledge and time. He is the BEST !!! If you have a high end vehicle, Jimmy is the man !! Thanks again bro.

Jimmy and his business are a bunch of Amateurs when it comes to wrapping cars with paint protection films. He or his employee actually used a knife to trim the film while installing it and left knife marks in the paint! This is a lazy and improper way of performing this work. Stay away from R1 Motorsport if you want the work done right!! A bunch of money hungry hacks. Response to owner Jimmy T. : No thanks to your feeble attempt to convince me to bring my car back to you so you can "take a look at the car and area of concern". I guess a customer only gets an "enjoyable customer experience " if they don't find their car mutilated by you and your lazy inexperienced staff. My "expectations " are that you don't take a knife to my car and trim the paint protection film while it's on the car duh!
