Our family has been going to Henry at LA’s Auto Repair for years. From basic oil changes to big jobs. They always pickup the phone, never upsell, and definitely don’t overcharge. Everyone is very kind and professional.

Henry and Leo are amazing. I searched for a solid, honest mechanic and I finally found one. I recommend LA Auto repair to all my family and friends. I have Japanese, German and Korean brand cars.

I happened to find this place because it was the closest to where I was when my car's cylinder was going out. I was on my way to work and scared my car was going to die on me for good. I was able to make it to the shop, And the guy running the front office had it checked quickly, drove me to work while they fixed it (it was a 2 minute drive up the road) and even though they were busy ( I heard the phone ringing non stop while I was waiting to see what was wrong with my car) they were able to fix it with no problem, and get it back to me, at work, for a decent price. The service was amazing, the people I spoke with were honest, and even though I was a girl who obviously had no idea what was wrong with my car and scared it was done for, I wasn't taken advantage of. For this happen chance of my car acting up less than a half mile from this shop and being taken care of like I was, they gained a repeat customer 100% no matter how far I have to drive/tow for them to fix my car

It has taken me a long time to do this review, in apart, because of the quality of work that I received from the owners of this shop. However, I must warn anyone who decides to take their car to their shop - you MUST remove anything that is valuable from your car prior to taking your car to their shop. I put my iPod in my glove compartment and forgot to take it out before leaving my car with them overnight. I didn't really think about the iPod until an hour after I picked up the car the next day. When I looked inside the glove compartment, it was GONE! I called the shop asking if anyone has seen an iPod and I was told that no one there has seen an iPod anywhere. I read 2 reviews from 2015 and 2018 that mentioned about items that have gone missing when they took their car to their shop, but I just dismissed them. However, I always had it in the back of my mind to never leave anything that people might find tempting. I was distracted that day because I didn't realize that I needed to leave my car overnight for them to diagnose the issue. In the end, they were not able to fix the problem and I lost an iPod that was a gift to me. Needless to say, I will never go back to their shop and will forewarn others to be mindful of their stuff when they go to their shop.

We've been going here for years and they have always been honest, straightforward and communicative with us. I always feel like we know why the charge is the amount it is and they help us prioritize repairs to make good choices. Never pushy, always happy to see us even though we are always bringing in problems!

The mechanics work fast, often done within a day or two, and are the most cost-efficient I’ve seen in town. I’ve gotten work done on three vastly different cars, and gotten great recommendations from LA Auto Repair for the few things their team can’t do.

The best repair shop I've ever experienced. Every single person here is great and knows their stuff. Over 2 years ago I worked with Henry and his technicians to diagnose a problem on my '75 Buick that we couldn't figure out. Turned out to be a loose timing chain. When we got everything sorted out the quality of work was outstanding. The only shop that ever routed hoses correctly and took the time to make sure every thing was as it should be. Drove it across the country and to this day no issues at all. Not even a drop of oil.Services: Transmission
