This place is FANTASTIC! We ordered the smoked burgers, salad, lemonade and raspberry fritters and everything was absolutely spot on. The food was wonderful and the restaurant was spotless. The owner, Jacob, is doing absolutely everything right. I encourage you to stop by - you definitely won't be disappointed. The portions are also very large so you certainly get your money's worth.

Nice to be able to walk from Brownsville Motel to the cafe. Good coffee and tasty food - it was buffet style for breakfast. Might have been nice to have beverages included.

I've only had their Burgers & Fries ( the taste is to die for!) Even though there isn't much competition up here I would choose their burgers over any in Oroville.

Real great storage place. Carol is exceptional customer service to work with. The electric gate is a great plus for entry and exit (easy access). Plus prices are great. I am consider myself luck they had a open unit for us. Rented for almost a year.

Such a wonderful improvement to our community. Excellent food, great service and pleasant family friendly surroundings. You won’t be disappointed in the food served, with a southern flair.

i must say'the food is excellent.the dessert is even better for me. The help from the owner and his mother when my motorcycle broke down was much appreciated, in efforts to get me home. I came today for lunch, but unfortunately they were closed, so I continued my journey in the beatiful country side. Thank you. Peter/Foresthill, CA

I stayed at the Brownsville Motel for one night on a recent trip to Yuba County, as it was conveniently located for my next day's destination. The owner was friendly and helpful, and called ahead to let me know she would leave the room unlocked for me since she needed to be away when I was going to arrive. The room was a decent size, not large but not cramped at all, and the bed was comfortable. And being in a small town that's way off the beaten track, it was quiet at night. But other than a small refrigerator with a freezer compartment - which came in handy for me - the room was pretty bare-bones. The TV was a small, older one, and there were no water cups and no bath mat. But there were plenty of good towels, so I used one for a bath mat. The wifi was easy to connect to and was reasonably fast. There's a pretty good cafe right next door, which was very convenient. I'm bumping up the rating a little since the place has relatively new owners and they are planning to make upgrades to the rooms (new TVs, new carpeting, etc.). Also, I enjoy staying in tiny, somewhat remote places such as this, so that was a plus in my book. I'd certainly consider staying here again if I'm visiting the area in the future.
