I wish I were able to give a better review but cannot after my experience with this dealership. In September 2024, I purchased a used vehicle for my son. I informed the salesman and finance manager (omitting names) that I was pre-approved with my bank. I was informed that they also work with my bank and would be able to pull the pre-approval to streamline the funding. It turns out that they did not go through my bank; they processed the loan with Ally Bank instead. The next day, I went to my bank and got the loan refinanced, saving me approx. 3.5 percentage points on the loan. My bank informed me that since Gap insurance would be added to my loan, I did not need the Gap insurance purchased through Norm Reeves and that I could cancel that coverage. However, my bank cut a check to fully pay for the loan obtained at Norm Reeves. I was told that Norm Reeves would need to refund me for the Gap insurance--to keep the funding and payoff "clean." I hand-delivered the payoff check to the finance manager at Norm Reeves. She informed me that they would cut me a check for the cancellation of the Gap insurance, but that I needed to wait approx. 10 days, until the payoff check cleared. After two weeks, I contacted the finance manager about my refund. She had me fill out a cancellation form and email it back to her. After doing so, I received another email that it could take up to 45 days for the refund to process. After the first week of November, I reached back out to the finance manager, who never returned my calls or responded to my emails. I ended up contacting the finance director by email and phone. When I was finally able to reach him by phone, in December, he informed me that they would refund me the check. The winter holidays have passed and I still have not received anything. I emailed the finance director this morning, and he informed me that they sent the refund check to my bank. I am not sure why they would send it to my bank, since they acknowledged that the check should have been refunded to me directly. I am disgusted and DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to conduct business with Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos, California. The customer service is substandard; I've never been so insulted during a vehicle purchase process.

Back in 2022, I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. I was offered a windshield protection plan that "supposedly " covered replacement. At no time was I told by the manager selling this protection plan that it only covered chips. Fast forward, I discovered a Crack on my windshield. For 2 days I called the dealer for help, nothing. I drove out here only to be refused service. I had to go to another dealer to get the truthful information. I spoke to a finance manager by the name of Nicole Cormier, ZERO empathy provided. After asking a few questions, she went to speak to her boss and came back with "there is nothing we can do" answer. Not a single resolution offered. A complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau with other complaints coming. Anyone reading this review, DO NOT BUY ANY ADDITIONAL COVERAGE. This place, including it's staff will simply wash their hands with owning the services sold in their building. If anyone from the dealer wants to reach out, you allbhave my information.

Currently waiting for a call back from a sales manager so I can share my awful experience on 12/27/24... Jimmy, very new salesman, came up to my husband and I asking if we had been helped a few minutes after we had arrived, we had not. I told him what I was interested in and what I wanted; 12k mile, 36 MO lease, preferred monthly payment, zero down and must include wear and tear. Another sales person came to help Jimmy because he was so new and she essentially took over, I don't recall her name. She wrote down all my "needs" and wanted to work numbers since the preferred color I wanted was at another dealership. She said she discussed with her manager and they agreed to ALL my needs BUT I would have to pick a car from their lot. I agreed and proceeded to wait an hour to go on a test drive because the keys to the specific trim I wanted were all checked out and/or stuck behind other cars. Went on the test drive and it was great. The deal she said was approved was exactly what I wanted so I just decided to settle for another color. Well, as the paperwork began (took a copy of my DL, I provided SS plus all personal info, got my proof of insurance) they wanted a down payment. I said no, that was not what we agreed to. She went to see the manager again, then came back and said they would cover the DOWN payment but NO wear and tear would be included. I spent 4 hours there just to be completely lead on! I was completely upfront and they AGREED BEFORE I even went for the test drive. Awful bait and switch!!!

I just want to start off by saying I've been to many Hyundai dealerships and this one was the worst Took my 2023 Tucson in for a routine oil change. My first impression was that it was clean with friendly staff. However, cars were jam packed everywhere around the service area and the manner in which they were rearranging all the cars seemed haphazard and chaotic. Nonetheless, I dropped off my car for the oil change to which they quoted me 2 hours. 5 hours later they call to inform me that my car was ready. I pick up my car and drive straight home. When I arrive home I noticed a new dent in my car door! I reviewed my dash cam footage and they moved/reparked my car 5 times and had the employees park in extremely tight parking spots. In my opinion, completely unnecessary and avoidable. Long story short, they did agree to fix it, which they did promptly. However this left me very disappointed with this location. We bring our cars in to be serviced and to keep them in good condition, not to receive them in worse condition than when we left them.

I'm giving 3 stars for a reason. Overall, I ended up purchasing a 2025 IONIQ 6. Love the vehicle, have no issues with the vehicle or the purchase price of it. Fair & Square. The experience on the other hand is what the 3 stars is for. I had 2 salesmen go through the process of selling me the car, one of which was training the other through the process of it. The person training was quite rude to the trainee, who was an older gentleman who was very nice and overall polite. I did not appreciate the training salesman speaking that way to his trainee. Does not seem like a very great culture he's leading there. There were also numerous times where foul language was used, which i feel wasn't appropriate for the setting. At one point, a generic homophobic joke was made about AIDS. Upon delivery of the vehicle, i also wasn't given a walk around of the vehicle, wasn't shown the features of the vehicle, and the car wash had left slight sticker residue on the door handles, trunk area, etc. Just feel like it was very rushed after purchasing the vehicle. If it were based just on these two individuals, I would've given a 1 star. However, Finance Manager Alex Fuller had really turned the experience I had up to the point around. Alex stepped into the negotiation process early on to help explain every financial detail. He was very adamant on getting me into the vehicle at a price that worked for both me and the dealership. After many back and fourths, Alex & I had stepped into his office to complete some paperwork. Alex didn't just sell me a car, he sold me an experience. He answered every question I had, no matter how tedious it may have been to answer. He informed me about every financial aspect of the deal. I felt as if he was the most genuine person in that whole entire dealership. He is also an owner of an IONIQ, and he was just being human with everything he was telling me, sharing me his own experiences, personal life details, etc. Alex wasn't pushy at all, I felt well informed about everything, and he assured me that if there was anything i needed after the deal was set & done, he'd be there to help. Alex is what the automotive industry isn't. He's transparent, honest, helpful, and he acknowledges that he works in an industry that prays on people without the proper knowledge to make proper financial decisions. I really respect him not only for his job, but for his character. Would I recommend purchasing a vehicle from Norm Reeves Hyundai of Cerritos? Only if Alex is there to complete your financial paperwork. Hope they make this right for the unpleasant experience I had prior to Alex.

They were OK. Just OK. They didn't really help me with setting up the car and how to use all the features. I guess I came and I knew what I wanted so it was cut and dry, but it would have been nice for them to take the time to show me everything.

Daisy and Neal at Norm Reeves helped me get in a car that I liked and made the trade-in process simple and easy. Car buying can be overwhelming, but they walked me through each step.

Had a great experience at this dealership today. Went in a couple of days ago on a used Palisade and it just wasn't what we wanted. Andy, our sales person, was very polite and did not apply any undo pressure. They ended up with a vehicle more suited to our needs that just got traded in last night. We went down today and Andy and the rest of the dealership were great to work with. Came to terms on very fair numbers, including what we got for our trade-in vehicle, and the process was very smooth. Highly recommended.

Elijah was helpful getting us into a new lease. The entire staff helped us through the entire process and was very knowledgeable. We arrived late on a Friday and they stuck around to help us, and let's be honest, who wants to stay in a car dealership late on a Friday night eh? The service and attention and personability is why we chose this location and will be returning, Thanks again Everyone and Thank again Elijah!!!!

I had a great experience here and would have purchased a car here.... UNTIL....the salesman (Fred Deymeh) was driving away from us and yelled "don't forget....VOTE FOR TRUMP". In a world where it's virtually impossible to escape political banter I couldn't believe it was being shouted at me from a car salesman who was trying to earn our business. Needless to say we will not be buying here. So inappropriate.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. The sales associate was super friendly and went out of his way to help us.
