Worst game store I ever been to. One trading. I traded my Wii and PS3. The Wii I got it off a guy on Facebook marketplace for $20. The PS3, which was a PS3 super slim is the one I grew up with throughout my childhood, and I recently found it in my grandparents house in Mexico. so I decide to bring it back to California and to trade it in because I wanted a GameCube for ages When I got there, I was greeted by the coworker. the consules were in my backpack, so I pulled out my back pack I had 4 wii games and a game cube microphone you could use for Mario party do we have two controls with the nunchucks unfortunately the PS3 does not have the HDMI core or the controller only a power cord. The guy just give me $40 even though they resell my Wii for $200 and same thing with the PS3 what’s wrong with giving me $400 I forgot you don’t have that much money so you decide to rip people off, another time I went to train my stuff was my game cube and Xbox 360 there was a worker that was pretty nice and did not say stuff rudely which was the coworker. He gave me about $60 but I wouldn’t have gotten 80 in store credit which $60 was kind of OK cause I wanna spend it at the dollar tree. He said that the reason why he gave me 60 was because my Xbox 360 looked pretty damaged and he wanted to not sell that to anybody and when I brought up the games he just smiled and said in a nice way these games aren’t worth that much by see some games go for $10-$20 maybe 15

Bro sold me a DS lite for 100$ which is only worth about 10$. He also sold a gba game 90$ which can be bought for 30$ on Amazon. Don’t waste your time and money coming here if you want better prices go to retro game plus.

Awesome game store in Cerritos Mall. They have a great variety of retro games, pokemon cards, toys, collectables and oddities like emulation devices that you only see online. People complain about the prices but if you talk to an employee like an actual respectful human being, they can work with you or discount an item to a fair price via pricecharting or TCG.

Don’t even bother trying to sell. They won’t take your games unless you wanna just give it to them. They sell fake games and since they sell them I thought I could sell mine to them but they said they don’t buy them but they’ll take “real” as donation. It’s really scummy what they do. Go to video game geeks or even GameStop. Yes even GameStop is better than this place. I asked about a game I’m still hunting for at GameStop and the employee is actually helpful even if they don’t have it. They have good service and are more genuine than these mooks.

Stay away from this shop. They claim to deal in vintage and retro games but most of their stock is fake, counterfeit, or cheap copies. Its very easy to tell when the carts look too clean and the plastic is unusually bright for carts that were made in the 90s. You can tell especially with the gameboy games. The labels look xeroxed and then stickered on. Avoid this store at all cost.

It was promising at first, it had cool stuff inside... Then you find out how pricey everything is, and it all goes down the drain. I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Purchased a Japanese import game that ended up being pretty scratched, spent about a month trying to get it to work. Was able to eventually get it to load, but it would crash right after loading into the game due to likely the scratches on disc. I came back to try to exchange it for another game as this was for my special needs brother, but they were unwilling to work with me as I was barely passed the 30 day return window. I asked if there was a manager available and the person behind the desk said that they are the manager and there was literally nothing they could do.The manager took a look at the discs and told us there are places that could repair them for $5, despite the fact that they are the ones that sold a scratched up discs. We didn't know if they were going to work because they were Japanese import games and we had to get our system working with Japanese import games first before we could even test them.As a previous manager at various stores and locations, I know that there is always some amount of wiggle room and he was unwilling to even hear me out or work with me in any way, shape or form. I will never be shopping a game boss again and I suggest nobody else do either.Well I understand that was past the 30 day return window. It would have been nice if they'd worked with me as they would have had repeat customer for life.

wow this store is a joke they literally told my son and his friend to not touch anything in the store and leave ! now let me tell you these are well mannered kids - the attendant is rude and a jerk ! how do you have a shop and treat customers that way my son was going to buy from there and mind you they were chaperoned by my sons friends dad who is a cop ..... don't waste your time or money on someone who clearly judges kids and treats them w poor judgement -- I do they were the only kids asked to leave and others not hmmm racial ? discrimination? other kids in store were white or Asian and just so happens our kids asked to leave (Hispanic) makes me think ? but go see for yourself on a Sunday afternoon and post your experience!

I've visited this store multiple times, not always with the intent to purchase but rather to admire their unique collection. They have an impressive array of old consoles, captivating anime art, and a treasure trove of vintage video games. However, it's unfortunate that the staff here don't always match the appeal of the merchandise. They tend to be less welcoming and often preoccupied with their phones during their shifts. It's a reminder that a simple smile and engagement with customers can go a long way in enhancing the overall shopping experience.

BUYER BEWARE: Walked in today, and thought it was a decent store. Walked around, saw some interesting things until I got set on buying a box with random Pokémon goodies. As I was going through the box, I noticed the genuine sword and shield Pokémon trading card box and figured it was a nice buy until I looked at the cards. All of the cards were fake reproductions of other cards online. With many having misspelled words, or being clearly labeled as "made by X company" that wasn't gamefreak. The worst $40 dollars swipe my no fake items. I could imagine a little kid going in and hoping to get real cards. Scammers like these should be ashamed to take advantage of unknowing customers and cheat them out of money.
