June 2021: They continue to de-fraud their customers and I am regularly contacted by their customers who read this review too late. We are still owed in excess of $25,000 due to them stealing the money we had paid them to pass to customs. We had to pay customs directly ourselves. Big time fraudsters John Kim is the head mobster.December 2020 Update: How this company is still in business is beyond me. We were promised all funds that they stole would be refunded but since the last update we have heard nothing from them.We have been contacted by attorneys representing others also defrauded by this company, owed significantly more than we are. Last week I was contacted by another company that has had stock blocked from being sent out from the warehouse for weeks causing them total stock outs for Black Friday and likely Christmas.Fraudulent and criminally dishonest.Original Review (Oct/Nov 2019)This company is fraudulent, extremely dishonest and cannot be trusted. They are being investigated by the police. Having worked with them for a couple of years where they regularly lost or misplaced my stock I had one last import that I was trusting them with. 4 October I paid them over $35,000 for a duty payment to US customs for three containers from China. This was requested extremely early in the process and some 15 days before the ship was due to dock. I was suspicious but paid anyway. John (the chief crook there) failed to submit the right paperwork in time and the three containers were impounded while one was examined. At this point I decided to not go through with having the containers delivered to this company and directed them elsewhere. As a result of John's incompetence and being totally out of his depth with this business the containers were not pulled from the port when available and I had to pay a further $20,000 for storage and exam fees. With the containers well away from him and his incompetent warehouse manager Martha I felt that I could relax as I had dodged a bullet. Friends of mine were regularly telling me that their stock was mis-labelled, lost and that hugely inflated invoices were being raised with threats to not move the stock until paid. However, this was not to be the end of their dishonesty and fraud as I was sent a penalty notice from US Customs and then a few weeks later a second one. It turns out that the crooks had kept my $35,000 to prop up their weak cashflow and had not paid the money over to US Customs. The penalty notice was for $100,000 plus the outstanding duty payments. Despite assurances from crooked John and his whimpering sidekick Jerry that as late as last week that they were going to customs to sort out their mess they have not done anything. They don't have the money. They are broke and about to go bust. If you have stock with them get it out as soon as you can at any cost. Their ship has sunk, hopefully without your stock or money.UPDATE- Dec/Jan 2019/20:So here's the update on EZPrep. Of the $30k I paid them to pass to customs 5 months ago they only paid over $9k (one of three containers). 3 weeks ago they send me a photo of a letter sent to customs with checks attached and a further letter cancelling those checks and presenting new checks). I asked for proof that this was delivered to customs and they gave me a bike messenger receipt. Having now worked with customs daily for three weeks they never received the letter or the checks. I asked them to wire the money I paid them back to me this week and they refused. They then offered to pay it 'little by little' over 'the next few weeks' but not as long as 'a year'. Pressurized again now for a payment plan to return my funds I paid them 5 months ago they could not pay $10k today as 'we have just paid payroll', they could not offer me a date for a payment nor any likely amount admitting that they had no real idea of their cashflow position. When they go down your stock will be held and likely auctioned to pay creditors or at least held up in litigation for months.

So here's the update on EZPrep. Pressurized again now for a payment plan to return my funds I paid them 5 months ago they could not pay $10k today as 'we have just paid payroll', they could not offer me a date for a payment nor any likely amount admitting that they had no real idea of their cashflow position. they stated that they could not pay me anything today. Clearly this is a company on the brink of failure and collapse. We all run a cashflow for our businesses and if it is so tight to limp past payroll (using other peoples money) then you can imagine what multitude of other bills they have hanging over them. My advice to anyone that has stock with EXPrep is to immediately withdraw it, send it somewhere or into Amazon. When they go down your stock will be held and likely auctioned to pay creditors or at least held up in litigation for months. Please pass this message on to anyone you know that deals with this company. I know that we all work extremely hard in a tough business environment and this company must not be allowed to do this. We are in the fortunate place of being a big business that can absorb this but smaller companies will close as a result of their incompetence and arrogance.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a 3PL. Emails take days to get answered if they respond at all. It takes them 3 weeks to get my stuff shipped out. These are goods that require no prep work, just palletize and ship and it still takes forever. Communication is terrible. Working with this company has been so frustrating. They started out okay when they first opened and the owner, John, ran everything. Then I don't know what happened but everything fell apart. Avoid EZ Prep and you will save yourself a ton of headaches!

Absolutely amazing service!! I was pulling hairs trying to figure out how to handle my inventory, and they made the process so smooth and easy. If you're an FBA seller you really need get in touch with them. Highly recommended!!

If I could leave negative stars I would. I sent stock in OVER A YEAR AGO to be QC'd. After many communications I can only assume they lost my stock, as every attempt to get my stock QC'd has ended in radio silence after a quick spurt of communication. For example this email dated OCTOBER 13th (Many, many months after I sent the stock in at the start of 2018!!!!) "Oh my goodness Sophie, I’m so sorry! I just talked with my team and there was a major oversight/miscommunication. I thought this was completed and done a day after my last communication with you, however, that appears to not be the case. I have a big team on it now and we will put this as first priority. Will also write to you again once I confirm that it is actually complete and shipped. So sorry again…" Well it's now APRIL 2019!! and guess what... STILL NO STOCK or COMMUNICATION. I've given up on my stock. Last resort is writing this review. Guess it would be too much to compensate me for the thousands of dollars worth of inventory that has fallen into the black hole that is EZ PREP!!!! But that's just business, right! Absolute joke of a company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

This is the best fba prep and 3PL service I have ever used. These guys know what they are doing, and they are extremely organized. When my products arrive, I know exactly what the progress is, and they communicate this very properly. Once its in, its out. They do not stall. Also, their warehousing prices are cheapest in the biz. Been doing business with these guys for the past year. No problems. Very understanding!

Awesome service. John is very good at his job, and he answers all your questions without pressuring you. When I was ready, he set up my forwarding services. I also warehouse my products with him as well. That was almost 2 years ago. I have no regrets since then. Organized, cheap, and friendly. I use them for fba prep and 3pl service. 5/5 thanks to the team!

I would give them negative stars if there was an option. Lethargic and awful. The staff is arrogant has not responded ,literally for months. Only after a statement of suing them they actively worked (I guess).

This prep center/forwarding company leaves me no choice but to leave them a negative review.

BEWARE! Do not buy or sell them anything. They are shady, they are thieves! I sold them materials and they have not paid it. They are using my product FREE OF CHARGE as far as I'm concerned. They lie and say they will pay and they don't. I sent a manager to their place of business and one of the owners, either Jerry or John, RAN out the back the door into his BMW to avoid him. How PATHETIC. I am reporting them and suing them.
