Beautiful plants / selection at a wonderful family business run by the nicest guys. A must for anyone looking for gorgeous, healthy, reasonably priced plants!I was looking for a very specific color of bougainvillea and had been referred to Arny's by another wholesaler who said Arny's was the "place to go for bougainvillea." And boy, is it ever! They had more bougainvillea than I've ever seen, anywhere-- and in every color. And it's not just bougainvillea-- they have just about everything I've ever seen at any other nursery, and more. Huge trees, happy cacti, beautiful ground cover plants... everything. Their lot is so huge I recommend wearing comfortable shoes or being ready to drive around a bit if you're in the mood to explore! It's a paradise for plant lovers, truly. Walking through their bright bougainvillea section felt like being Alice in Wonderland.Bobby, the manager, couldn't be a nicer guy, knows his plants, and charges very fair prices. He had excellent recommendations and took us around the lot with no time pressure, no salesman vibes, nothing but friendliness and knowledge. It really felt like being shown around by a friend.I bought five bougainvillea which were almost 8 feet tall for literally 75% less cost than I had been quoted at a big-name nursery. I had to pinch myself! Delivery was quick and easy, with my plants arriving exactly at the time scheduled. Nick, who delivered the plants, is Bobby's brother, and is an equally nice guy. After a horrible experience at a big-name nursery, I'll happily drive down to Arny's from LA anytime I need any plants in the future. It was more than worth the trek. And it always feels good to support a family business! Go to Arny's for whatever plantings you seek, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Extremely pleased with my experience with Arny's Garden. I lost a lot of mature screening ficus in my back yard during the winter storms this year, and I needed to find replacements that wouldn't take too long to grow in, but weren't excessively expensive or too impractical to plant. Arny's had exactly what I was looking for, and the pricing was fair. Delivery was a smooth process, and I'll be referring my friends to them. Once we've decided what trees we want to use for our front yard, I'll be coming back!

Great variety of beautiful, healthy plants, shrubs and trees. The family-owned business is a great addition to our community and they are super nice and knowledgeable. Support them when you do your next landscape project.

The Nursery is no Longer called S-Y any more. Now under new owners and called Arny's Garden the place has a much bigger variety of plants and although they are listed as a whole nursery the place is open to the public offering public and individual sales at a great price

I stopped by to purchase something to support my leaning elephant ears plant. Bobby was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful. He even gave me the support I needed for my plant. I'll definitely be coming back to purchase plants and plant supplies in the future! Highly recommended!

I was sent to Arny's by The Yard Doctor here in Long Beach to purchase a new tree. Bobby at Arny's was helpful finding the tree at their Carson lot with the help of Raul. Bobby also set up delivery for me and the overall cost was very fair.We'll be going back for upcoming landscape plants we'll need for our front yard redo.
