Visited Aldi yesterday and to start off some produce was rotten and when it came to checking out the cashier Leticia was chewing gum like a cow to say the least and had the worst attitude. Never shopping here again.

Still have to remember to bring a quarter and a bag every time I come here, but you can walk out with a decent amount of food for less than most known supermarkets.

Cerritos, land of fantastic Pokemon. Our own Pokémon team ventured into the Aldi market, more than for a traditional Pokémon battle, but for a tournament of a different sort - one that pitted us against the wild, random delights of the "Aisle of Shame." Just like a Pokémon Gym battle, this adventure had its ups and downs, with each discovery a new challenge to confront. As we navigated the aisles, it felt like wandering through the tall grass of the Pokémon world, not knowing what wild encounter would pop up next. From massagers to slippers, each item was as unexpected as a wild Jigglypuff in a cave of Zubats. This aisle, much like a rare Poké Stop, stood out in an otherwise unremarkable marketplace, much like a standout Pokémon in a team of Rattatas. The rest of the Aldi market felt like a Route 1 adventure - basic, filled with the most common Pokémon (or in this case, generic items) you'd encounter at the start of your journey. Brands unknown, like Pokémon yet to be identified by the Pokédex, left us wondering if Professor Oak had any advice on these mysterious goods. Periodically, we'd stop by, driven by curiosity, much like visiting a well-known Gym out of sheer intrigue. In this odd marketplace gym, our battles were against mediocrity. Each foray into the Aisle of Shame was like launching a Swift Attack, hoping for a critical hit but often ending in a stalemate. Our team, from Pikachu with his electric charge to Charizard with his fiery breath, found no worthy opponents, just the peculiar charm of randomness that kept us coming back. Three stars we award this Aldi market challenge, akin to a Pokémon battle that ends in a draw. The Aisle of Shame, with its bizarre assortment of lifestyle products, earns the same rating - a reflection of the randomness that both bewilders and amuses. Like a Pokémon match that can swing high or low on any given day, our experience at Aldi fluctuates with the randomness of the stock on the shelves in this aisle of oddities. So, with Poké Balls in hand, we leave Aldi not as victors or defeated trainers but as wanderers amused by the oddities within. The market stands like a mysterious Gym Leader, whose secret to staying in business remains as elusive as a hidden ability Pokémon. Three stars for an experience as unpredictable as a wild Pokémon encounter, forever capturing the whimsy of a journey filled with unknowns.

I love coming here. It has everything I need, the parking is easy, and shopping is a delight. I'm happy to try new foods and I'm surprised that it's usually empty. I'll come here if I need regular groceries throughout the week.

I shop here frequently but find they are often out of basic items, especially bananas. Also I no longer buy onions, or potatoes from here since they seldom last for more than a couple of days before sprouting or rotting. I suspect there is something wrong with their supply chain for these items. For dry goods and pantry staples their prices are great, and the the quality is adequate. The staff at this location clearly are dedicated and work hard, but are also friendly!
