“I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice, the price is reasonable if you book ahead and the deposit $50 is fair. The room has lots of storage and all the outlets work. The housekeepers are pleasant and have good disposition. I had an issue checking in but they did work it out with me and they put effort to fix the problem which is rare for a motel to do.”

“My boyfriend and I were staying at this hotel for the first time we were both blown away. The rooms were very nice and breathtaking. The breakfast was great. And the breakfast hosts Maria and Debbie were very nice. They did an awesome job at breakfast. They were both really nice to talk to. They both gave me great service. Please recognize these 2 great ladies. They did an awesome job at what they do.”

“I found myself needing a place to stay for 3 weeks and I am glad I picked Holiday Inn on bangs. I felt safe, both my work van and personal vehicle were safe. Everyone was polite, everything was clean. The breakfast was awesome especially the biscuits and gravy. They have a safe in every room so I was able to lock up my iPad and stuff while I was at work. Because of the location there is no homeless people looking to steal stuff. It’s right next to the freeway. I literally have nothing but good things to say, no complaints at all. They have a nice washer and dryer so I was able to do my laundry no problem. It’s my new home away from home and would not even think of staying anywhere else. Good people!”

“This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. There were two bath mats 1 bath towel witch was stained, witch I brought the the lady's attention but it wasn't a big deal. The smoke alarm had a plastic bag coving it the floors were dirty. The TV worked for about 4 hours. The curtains were damaged like cut in half. NEVER AGAIN! DISGUSTED ?”

“A very nice clean hotel. Hampton Inn is my favorite in the chain. I have always enjoyed the free breakfast. The people have always taken care of me to make sure that I have the room type and location that I need.”

“The price with out having to use credit card was worth it and room was clean .. your lucky you get a tiny bar of soap no a days . I would stay again .Rooms: Comfy bed clean ,could update pillows kinda flat.Walkability: Many food places close by to walk to if need to ,Dennys, IHOP, jack in the box, taco place .Noteworthy details: Either bring own bathroom goods or ask front desk if they supply any and no coffee pot in rooms so might ask front desk ..”

“Would love to give more than five stars if there is an option for that. My daughter and I love the thought and detail they put into place, with breakfast, the way furnitures are arranged, how comfortable the bed is, and front desk people first greeted with a smile then a word afterwards. We want to be back again. Raved about this place to my husband.”

“Very pleased with my stay. Beds were comfortable, sheets were soft, water pressure on shower head was on point and hotel is located in a shopping center walking distance to Black Bear, Costco and a few restaurants. Staff was great also! Would highly recommend!”

“It's in a good place, everything is fine. But in the rooms facing Freeway 99 you cannot sleep well because there is a lot of noise.Rooms: In the rooms that face Freeway 99 you cannot sleep well because the traffic noise comes in very loudly, probably the doors do not seal well.”

“Sweet location. Lots of eateries around. Homeless are around so there’s a bit of a urine smell. Parking spaces are a bit of a tight squeeze! Other than this, I enjoyed the room for a night and LOVED the overall location. Also, the woman at the front desk had GREAT customer service!!”

“My husband and I own our own company and we stay in hotels all over the West Coast. Even though Turlock seems like a small town in central California I have to tell you that my husband and I love this motel more than pretty much any other motel we've stayed at. Not only are the staff incredibly exceptional and accommodating but the continental breakfast is quite good. I couldn't ask for a more comfortable environment in a hotel or better staff every time it's just been an all-around great experience! I want to give a big round of applause to Jacqueline, Aaron and the manager Stephanie. They are all wonderful people. Thank you for always being so inviting.”

“The front desk host, Kym, is a gem! She has incredible customer service and goes above and beyond for her customers. We had an issue with Priceline where they booked us a week out instead of the day of like we needed and she called them directly to fix the problem. We've been here twice and had the pleasure of getting Kym each time. We're in town for my grandmother who is in hospice care and she's made this difficult time a little easier. The beds are also sooo comfortable and the rooms are immaculate. The complimentary breakfast is also really good. Highly recommend this place!”

“Ok so I have not stayed here. Mu best friend came to visit me and my son and I went with her to check in. The room was lovely. The staff super friendly. “This review is for parents who signed up for SAT exam at Pitman High School. We drove 100 miles here for the exam because simply there's nothing available in SF area. This hotel is amazing considering it's in Turlock. This is not a luxury hotel, but it has everything we needed. It's clean, it's safe with very helpful and friendly staffs. When we checked in, we realized majority of the people here are with their kids for the 8AM text the next morning. So I'd say this is a perfect a night before SAT hotel. We got the rest we needed, and they offered buffet breakfast. I can't complain.”

“We were down the way at Ramada and were quoted a $300 deposit for a one night stay. We made our way to Best Western and the deposit was reasonable at $100, and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and informative. Room was clean, check in was speedy. Thank you!!”

“This place isn't the Hilton. It's cozy and the owners are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. They have run this motel for many many years and I recommend this motel for those who don't need the spoils of today's accommodations. It's more for a quick night's rest when you're traveling and just need a little rest . The place is alright. I like the owners . They are very cool especially the wife.”

“I've stayed here twice, it's a nice hotel on the inside, rooms are clean, neve had issues with the actual room. Tvs always work, water is hot, and there is good pressure. Complimentary water bottles for silver, gold, and diamond members. Warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in. ?My biggest complaint is with the location, there isn't an on-site parking lot u less you valet. The parking garage is across the street, so if you are traveling alone and have bags, you have to cross the street with your bags. Each time I have come it's raining, so I have to take my things and wait to cross the street in the rain. It's very inconvenient.There is also a train that passes pretty frequently right near the hotel, I am a light sleeper, so at night, I was woken up by the train horn several times, and it is LOUD.Staff is nice, the restaurant on site is good, I hope for more vegan options in the future but there is enough to work with, room service is great also. There are restaurants, theaters, and coffee shops nearby within walking distance if it's not raining.”

“I was in the area on business and this one seemed safe and reasonably priced. Desk clerk was friendly and efficient and the mattress was firm and comfortable. When I saw that the breakfast consisted of pre-packaged breakfast items instead of the usual buffet, I wasn't expecting much, but they were a lot better than many of the hotel breakfasts I've had.”

“Let me share my experiences while staying at the Travelodge. First and foremost let me say that the management there has been kind, helpful and accommodating. If a problem or situation arises DB addresses it to the best of his ability.My family and I stay there quite frequently and the staff has made us feel at ease and allowed us to turn each stay as though we were at home. Everyone always looks genuinely happy to see us and greets us personally with warmth. Jennifer, Rosa, Lupe, Ericka, Kamal and Theresa are always there to help if you require any housekeeping issues and always go OUT of their way to ensure our stay was a pleasant one.Other than that my biggest complaint has nothing to do with the management or staff but more with some of the people who frequent or visit this establishment. They drive way to fast and loud with little or no regard to others at all different times of the day and night. This includes blaring music as well.We also deal with the homeless who come in to collect recyclables and rummage around for things they might want. With that being said I have never encountered a problem with any of them and ha e witnessed management ushering people out of the motel if someone lingered too long. I've read that people have complained that it was a cockroach motel but I've seen nothing especially ever since Clark was here and did a top to bottom treatment.AS for the size of the rooms, they are larger than the average. Spacious really.I know this may seem as though someone who wrote this is affiliated with the motel but that is the fiurthest thing from the truth. I'm just a patron who is honest and truly feel blessed by staying here.So, if you are in need of a place to stay and require something modestly priced and of value than look NO FURTHER than I The Travelodge in Turlock, Ca!Rooms: The size, the cleanliness and the parking.Noteworthy details: It would have to be the management and staff.”

“Staying here at the Modesto Hotel. The rooms aren't terrible looks like it was freshly remodeled not too long ago. Always our old looking same with Lobby. If I would give it a rating I would put it as a a 8/10. Air conditioner unit looks a little old sounds old super loud. Depending on what side your room's at the road noise could be really bad. And if you're sleeping during the day like me it could be bad. I checked for bugs so far nothing besides the normal fly. If I find one I will update. Room smelled pretty nasty when I walked in moldy musty smell type. I got a disinfected spray can and sprayed everywhere a little better. It's also a good location next door There Is In and Out Burgers Olive Garden black bear and a couple markets nearby all totally walkable. Lot of cats running around and homeless camping out in the corner of the hotel here but that's everywhere in CaliforniaWalkability: Very close walkable distance to In-N-Out Burger Olive Garden black bear couple markets nearby. Great location”
