I came in to return 4 items, 1 item from 1 receipt and the other 3 on another receipt. Then I was gunna buy new gloves and key holder for work. I thought they cud look up my receipt by phone number but was told they can't do that, so I dug thru my email cud only find 1 receipt for the 1 item. No big deal. I grab a key holder/separator that i like then walk over to the gloves, (this is still at the front of the store, right next to the cash registers) i try on the left hand glove of 3 pair, because sum times I need large, sum times medium. It depends on style, fit, and brand. Plus I wanna see if they are comfortable. I try on a 4th pair (just left hand glove again), they fit really nice but they were more expensive then the other 1s I was considering but there was 1 last pair I wanted to try before I made a decision. With the 4th pair still just on the 1 hand, an employee walks up and tells me I cannot try on the gloves. I was caught off guard and kinda confused, because I bought gloves from AutoZone in the past and I always tried several on. So I say, "what, really, u can't try on the gloves?" Employee says, "no u can't". I say sumthin like, "that's crazy" then he just stares at me. So I ask, "ok then, how do I figure out what size I need?" Employee says with attitude, "that's besides the point." I laugh a lil bit and just say, "huh?" Because I'm not sure what to say. Then I ask, "so how do I know If any of them will fit, or if I'll even like the fit?" Employee says again, "that's besides the point." And I say, "what?? This is ridiculous" He just stares at me again. I think to myself, "that's the stupidest store policy but whatever, I'll just do it whatever way they want it done" So then I ask, " so am I just supposed to buy a pair for the way they look and hope they fit, and if they don't fit then return them and buy another pair, then repeat? Employee just stares at me again. So then I say, this is absolutely ridiculous. Then I ask again, "how the (expletive) do I get the right size". Employee says, "that's besides the point". Then I said, "you know what, f*** your store, this is bulls***." Then I grabbed the two pairs of gloves I had on the counter and threw them in the floor. Then I said, "this is so stupid, you guys are so f***in ridiculous." I'm never coming back to AutoZone. I'm going to O'Reilly' s.

I wish I could give them 0 stars they are not helpful at all i got an oil filter for my car and it did not fit so I had drove back to get a new one or switch it out to the actual one and they said no they couldn’t because it had a couple of drops of oil on it and they said they can’t do anything and told me to buy a new filter and they were so rude they told me why would I try putting on the filter if it wasn’t the right one I told them they were ones to suggest it and said it should work and after I refused to buy they told me to leave

My daughter went to autozone on Mitchell rd and purchased a/c stop leak and detector, and the detection kit, and can tap but forgot hose. Then she found a hose from a previous can of refrigerate. So. I told her to take tap can dispenser back neither of us opened it. She attempted to take back but there was tape on package that neither of us noticed and sales person didn't notice at time of purchase. They refused to refund saying we opened it and taped it back. Basically calling us liars. Won't be going here ever again.
Update....
As of 4/23/24 my issue was finally resolved. Received a call from Nestor who listened to what I had to say and took care of me shortly after talking with him on phone. Thank you for helping me.

Still a great store but they're hiring more and more unexperienced people who have no idea what they're doing other than what the computer screen tells them place you used to have experience mechanics and great at troubleshooting now they're just store clerks

They told the air flow censor was the reason for the check engine light. I purchased the air flow sensor and reset the check engine light. Shortly thereafter, the check engine came on again. Long story short, it appears the air flow sensor is not the problem. The manager at AutoZone refused to refund me my money for the air flow sensor. Now I’m out $200 and still have the same issue. If they would have initially explained to me the air flow sensor MIGHT be the problem and that I would NOT be able to return it, no way would I have purchased it.

I highly recommend you get your auto parts needs here at this store. What amazing customer service. Mr. Sebastian was a perfectly polite and professional employee that needs to be acknowledged for his actions and ability to be a good human. I needed a battery for my Nissan and I received the best possible service there was to receive. Thank you for employing this quality of a skilled human. He not only sold me the perfect battery, he also installed it and had me on my way again within 10 minutes. He ensured I will remain safe while out in the road and I cannot thank you enough for this.Easy to locate off the Main Street in Ceres. PLENTY of safe and free parking

If I could leave no stars, I would.I came in needing a connector piece for my battery terminal. I didn't remember the exact word for it, so the female (dark hair, short, thin) looked up my car and walked over to her manager. Walked back over and said they offered the whole wiring cable from starter to battery, but had several different lengths, so I needed to find a way to get the length. I asked if someone could come take a look, to which I got avoided by all staff. I asked for a tape measure, and walked to my car. Made a phone call for help for the part name, full of frustration. One male (tall and thin with facial hair) walked out, looked at my engine compartment for a second, said nothing and walked back in, completely ignoring me.I got the part name and walked back in with their tape measure, set it on their counter and told them they were of no help and O'Reilly's across the street would probably be more willing to make my sale, with competent help.As a small business owner, I was super disappointed and won't be back. Manager was a middle aged male, stocky build and facial hair. He never said a word and avoided eye contact. If management acts that way, no wonder the employees do to. Save yourself hassle and go across the street. They did a fantastic job at helping me.

Gerardo and Jose helped us they deserve to get 20 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The customer service is excellent! I came in for a car battery. Gerardo and Jose/Jesus were really friendly, professional, and helpful. I will definitely come back. I recommend it!

I am just leaving store #3719. I was so worried when my car nearly lost power when passing through this town. Everyone was extremelmly helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot. There was a young lady and two gentlemen there. Thank you so much for a job well done and the peace of mind for the remainder of my travel. The messages are gone after adding oil also. Now I am in the wind. But driving slowly as recommended.
