I took my truck in for a stars only smog, it didn't pass, the owner repaired it and it passed. He is a very nice gentleman. Very knowledgeable, I found out that he use to teach classes in automotive until he could afford to open his own business. I had many questions about my vehicle and he answered them. I highly recommend him and his place of business. His hours of business are 10am-6pm. Very pleased!!

I was recommended to this place by San Joaquin Valley Air to take advantage for a free smog, I called the place and asked if I needed an appointment for a smog, the gentleman said no, so I show up and get my vehicle smogged, once service tech is totaling cost, I mentioned to him that I have a voucher from the state for a smog, he said he can't accept it because I have to let him know in advance about it, so he wanted his $80. I told him that he didn't ask me for a voucher, I guess it was my fault for not mentioning it in advance. I told him this is my first time doing this and I didnt know how the process works, so i mentioned to him as a business owner you should guide your customers and explain the process and make it fare for the consumer. Then he tells me that there's people out that need it more than me, because of the way I looked, I said you shouldn't judge your customers based on there appearance, and then he tells me, yeah your probably right, he said I guess I just have a big mouth. So i strongly do not recommend this place for any service.Service: Auto emissions testing

One of my good friends told me to go here so I thought I'd try it just to get my truck smog. And found out this old man can not drive stick he does not know what he is doing. Then I went on yelp and seen that he has a lot of trouble putting clutches in makes since so if you have a manual car or truck do not take it here I repeat do not take it here he charged me 3 times and kept telling me he can't put it in third I think he just really can't drive stick or made he's too old to remember where 3rd is in a 5 speed but the main thing is I think he was just trying to get my money because no one goes in there at all I was there for 3 hours and I didn't see one person go in at all it's really clean and neat shop probably because he doesn't work on shit but I would never take my car back again!!!!!!!

Don’t even stop in bad customer service. Heavy set lady short hair very sarcastic I walk in she was on her phone. I guess it bother her she got interrupted. No wonder there’s no business here.

I work in the same lot as this A & A. I was finally able to repair my car (after a year and a half) and get a smog. The owner were very personable. It was $55+ 3% for using my card for a smog on my 1997 Corolla. It passed. The technician even pointed out a crack in my manifold and let me know what issues I can expect with it. I read some reviews where they said they were quoted the same problems as other people and questioned the legitimacy of the diagnosis. I am thinking its competitors posting because this was literally the cheapest place I have found to get my smog done. Competition hates that.
