Discovered this cute little store on our way to vacation out in cazadero! We needed some snacks for our stay and wow this place has way more then just a normal general store! We saw a sign for Thursday burger night so we went back for burgers and those were so delicious! The cutest merchandise is sold in this store if u are looking for memorabilia! Don't hesitate to stop it's such a charming store with lots of yummy food offerings and more!

An oasis that I always look forward to stopping at! Note to management: I understand you get a lot of cyclist traffic, but charging me $2 to fill my bottle with tap water is unreasonable. At the very least, wave the fee if someone purchases other items.

We stayed down the street from the General Store. It was the perfect spot for provisions.

Stepping into this rustic yet packed store feels like taking a step back in time. The store's cozy ambiance is matched by its impressive selection of goods. From locally sourced produce and artisanal products to household essentials and unique gifts, they seem to have it all. It's a delightful place to explore, discover new treats, and support local vendors.During my visit, I couldn't resist indulging in their freshly baked goods. The aroma of warm bread and pastries filled the air, and the taste met expectations. Whether you're craving fresh fruit, a quick snack, or a picnic feast, their deli section has you covered with delicious options.Pricing is a bit steep, but look at where it's located saving you a 30-40 minute trip.

Thursday night is burger night at the Caz General Store. $8 gets you a fresh off the bbq grill beef patty with all of the trimmings that you select on a decent bun. The burgers are made the way you'd make them at home. Eat 'em while they're still hot!

Shockingly well stocked with many necessities! Very nice to not have to go all the way to Guerneville to shop

The Cazadero General Store is truly the "Heart of Cazadero, California." My wife and I rented a wonderful cabin in the redwood forest near Cazadero for eight days. It was a terrific stay, and the local citizens made us feel extremely welcome. Everyone we met were very friendly and accommodating. The vast majority of those we met were hanging out at the Cazadero General Store. The Cazadero General Store is kind of of a Deli, but it is so much more! It is a grocery store that has a great variety of foods, many of which are local sourced. They have a great selection of local baked goods. They have a very large selection of Cazadero souvenirs. I bought a Cazadero General Store T Shirt that I have been proudly wearing. The food is truly wonderful. The owner/manager smokes their pastrami and roast beef. The pastrami sandwich is HUGE, and wonderful! The Cazadero General General Store is a must stop, must do whenever you are near Cazadero!

Everything you need that you may have forgotten during your travels. Old time general store feel with all the staples including wine, beer, groceries and made to order deli sandwiches. Great stop for lunch or restocking the essentials. There is even a medical isle to assist in relieving aches and pains. A must stop if near Cazadero.

This historic general store has the best deli sandwiches. They smoke their own turkey and pastrami. Absolutely delicious.

Best deli sandwiches in the county!! The gals that own and run this store are so friendly. It's a small country store. Still has the horse rings on the outside wall to tie up your horses. Original old wood building. They make and smoke their own roast beef and pastrami. Huge sandwiches. Today I tried the pastrami. Amazing!!

- freezers don’t work properly for years.Ice cream, for example, is almost always refrozen. Wouldn’t try the frozen meat…- the older lady, the blonde one, is incredibly rude. Never responds to greetings (maybe she’s German?)- leave your credit card in your pocket. The terminal doesn’t work most the time- basic household goods like soap is out of stock- forget the veggies, wilted and overpriced- yeah, they have a good beer selection but it consists almost solely of IPAsOne the plus side, it saves you the drive to Duncan’s Mill general store, Monte Rio market or Safeway in Guerneville. It has character (besides the grumpy lady.IIt is a local store. It has chips and beer. You meet people there, not only grumpy lady, but nice one too.

The Caz general store went rapidly down the hill lately. - they don't stock even basics like soap - 1 wilted lime =$1??? - C/C terminal hardly works. It's 2021, still pandemic, who carries cash??? - ice cream is usually refrozen as the freezers are not properly working, for years now. They never seem to fix them. - some of the staff is not very friendly, especially the older blonde lady, she's outright rude. She never responds to greetings or hellos, doesn't acknowledges customers, just awful. I always make a point to support local businesses especially when they have some character. But this one turned into a bad one.

Lil store in a town out in the wilderness. As other reviews say, they serve sandwiches and all the locals were there ordering them. I didn't try the sandwiches because we would have been waiting to check out for like ten additonal minutes. The store has groceries, tourist stuff and frozen items.

It's a local store in a rural community. We all know each other. Plus locally grown meats.
