The Cayucos Motel is a nice little motel in a great location on Main Street, steps from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean, luminous, and full of character, though some note the decor is dated. It is exceptionally dog friendly, featuring a fenced grass area, personalized bowls and treats, and is located half a block from a dog-friendly beach. Management is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides great communication. Check-in is remote, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, offering a true escape with no TVs in the rooms. Guests appreciate the clean rooms, good parking, and overall friendly place.

Beach is right behind the property and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Nice little Motel. Clean rooms, good parking and a great location. Check in and check out are done remotely or at least when I was there on Friday night. I only saw the maid but she was very sweet.

Very clean and luminous dog friendly room, half a block from a dog friendly beach and downtown, close to restaurants. Communication with the front desk was great even when temporarily out of office, they would answer the text immediately.
