“This place was great! So quiet at night you can hear the waves. Walking distance to great places to eat and shop. Management is friendly and knowledgeable about local stuff to do. We brought our dog and it was perfect. They have a little fenced dog area for them and the motel is located literally steps from a dog beach. I also love that there is no TV or phone in the room. Truly an escape!”
“We truly enjoyed our stay at Cayucos Sunset Inn on two separate days. The staff is caring and attentive, the room is wonderfully kept, and the food is lovely. Cookies in the afternoon are divine. We plan on returning in the future, and would HIGHLY recommend. Our only suggestion...small microwave to warm up leftovers! :)”

“Beautiful location, great views and clean room. Only complaint was Gina at the front desk was offensive and rude to us. Not an ideal greeting when you come to the beach for a relaxing vacation.”
“Perfect location within walking distance to the downtown part of Cayucos and the pier. Public restroom and showers were recently redone and were as nice as a hotel. We always enjoy our stay.”

“We stayed here for our wedding week along with members of our bridal party. The hotel was awesome. Jason was so responsive, kind and accommodating, and the accommodations were great. The rooms are a good size, clean, modern, with a view that can’t be beat and a location right in downtown. We are so happy we chose this special place to stay at during our wedding week. “Ground floor units and you park your car right outside the door. Clean and updated. Very close to the shore, and downtown. As someone who has arthritis, I'm glad there are no stairs to navigate. Pet friendly. Very friendly Inn Keepers.”

“Stayed here along with some friends for the weekend. We were most impressed with the excellent customer service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the fire pit each night and enjoyed meeting and socializing with other guests around the fire. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced and it’s a short walk to the beach and restaurants in town. Our group has already discussed staying here again.”
