Good Clean Fun is not like most other shops they really focus on their own branded clothing and unique products. They have the best fishing tackle shop in the county. I was in last week and bought two rod/reel combos (weston one of the owners) took almost an hour with me and made sure I was dialed in. My wife bought a dress for herself and my kids both got new wetsuits and body boards while they waited for me. My niece found some reef sandals as well. This shop really has something for everyone and the friendly environment is hard to beat. We are now regulars!

Great shop and helpful staff. My girlfriend bought a wetsuit her on sale this winter. Works great and good quality a 4.3mm Buell. They have great options for locals and visitors. Plenty of rental equipment. Check them out if you are in Cayucos!

Was on a kayaking trip along the California coast. "lost" (likely "someone swiped") one of my Kayak handles along the way. Called "Good Clean Fun" and Weston hooked me up. Stopped by and it was replaced in minutes. Highly recommend this place. Good knowledgeable people.

This is likely one of the physically closest Surf and rental shops that is almost directly on a Central Coast beach. Most other surf shops in Pismo for example can be up to a few blocks away in some cases. Of course, if one is staying in this town, this is definitely easy to get to. This town is compact for sure and despite way too many tourists in general, one is always tempted to visit off season. Some things are a bit hidden, like the free tennis courts for example. Obviously, due to proximity, it is easy to find a place to grab some eats after doing some sports.

Anytime I visit Cayucos this is the first place I go to. The best surf shop in SLO county. I've been visiting Cayucos for over 17 years now and this is still my favorite spot. Weston and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to surfing and fishing. I love GCF's clothes as well and they do an amazing job on their designs. Plus they have rentals as well and are located in front of a great surfing beach as well as a pier to fish off of. I suggest to all my friends/family that are driving along the coast to stop in Cayucos and go to GCF and walk a few yards over to the best fish taco spot around, Ruddell's smokehouse.

Fall break 2021 was a success, due in a large part to the wetsuits we rented from Good Clean Fun. Weston (2nd generation owner) was great- he helped my girls get suits in the correct sizes, gave a suggestion for a waterfall hike that we loved, and was friendly and helpful. We will be back the next time we're in the area and need suits!

Rented wetsuits & surfboards here for our group and everything was great! Everyone was fitted correctly and the condition of the gear was very good. This was our second or third time renting from here and will 100% do it again.

Really close to the beach, reasonable prices on rentals and great inventory of items for purchase. The 2 younger gents that worked there were really helpful, polite and got our family in and out really quickly for both rentals and checking equipment back in several times during the weekend. I would definitely visit again.

have been to this store several times and been satisfied but was very disappointed this trip. being a beach store, sand is inevitable and there were no signs saying no sand - my daughter wore shoes, and despite that some a-hole with a mustache upstairs treated her very disrespectfully. do better, good clean fun.

These people obviously put money above human life. On a Monday afternoon my wife and I were walking home on the beach. It was a typical spring day with strong northwest wind and 3-4' wind swell. There was not a person in the water except a few kite boarders a mile south, except for one person in a bright yellow kayak. We were surprised to see a lone kayaker in the heavy chop and strong winds to we watched for a minute and when the kayaker fell off the kayak, it was obvious by the fact that they were struggling to re- board the kayak. Eventually the kayaker got on and turned to paddle north into the wind and struggled until they fell off again- this time close to the rock exposed by low tide. The person eventually made it to shore so we offered some assistance. It turned out it was a 20 something year old woman from Sacramento. She has only kayaked once before and had no idea how to get back to the surf shop. We carried her kayak to the nearest beach access and called the shop to notify them. Who would rent a kayak to a solo, inexperienced person with high wind, low tide, swell and cold water? Only these people obviously. Wow.

The staff here was so helpful and patient. Definitely and no judgement and super friendly place. Plus they have a great selection of stuff to buy with very little markup. Almost unheard of in a place like this.
