But when going into the clinic the team were incredibly accommodating to me and my furbabies. You can tell the staff cares so much about cats!! Everyone was incredibly kind and informative. “Can’t say enough positive things about this whole office!!! Front office staff and the veterinary techs are always SO friendly, helpful and wonderful. Dr. Pentoney, my pups’ veterinarian, is the kindest I’ve ever ever met. She is so caring, smart, thoughtful, thorough and patient. She always takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns, and even personally calls to deliver messages about important lab results and tests. Dr. Pentoney has been a godsend even more so recently as one of my dogs has a tumor indicating soft tissue sarcoma, which is terrifying. I am truly SO grateful to this office for their care and kind demeanor. You can tell how much they value their clients and love animals with everything they do.”

“The veterinarian was very thorough. She asked many health questions about our new adopted dog Chippie, and the vet tech got him his shots right away. The place was clean, spacious and everyone there was very respectful. Great establishment.”

“First time visit with Mary Hall was a great experience. My cat is having issues with over grooming and she was quickly able to diagnose that it was probably a food allergy. My baby was less than thrilled to be at the vet (spicy spice) and her team was able to handle him so that he could get his examination quickly. I appreciated that she said that it was probably a food allergy when she could’ve pushed for expensive skin testing and or blood tests when it seems to not be necessary. Otis went home with a new prescription food and some ointment, and also some calming meds for his next visit and I would say the price was extremely fair. I will be bringing him & his brother here for future treatments.”

Monte had terrible separation anxiety, but every time we walked in, she was greeted by name with hugs and treats. She was always genuinely comfortable there. They provided excellent post-
surgery care, consistently checking in on us and staying on top of her medications.
When the time came to put Monte down due to old age, the staff was right there by my side. I can't thank them enough. A special thank you to Mia, Monte's favorite person. Mia is outstanding-she is patient, kind, and truly cares. I couldn't have gotten through that day without her. She provides five-star service with so much heart. VCA, whatever you're paying her, it isn't enough!

“I was unable to find a 4 pound bag of a certain dog food anywhere. I stopped into this Petco (Palm Desert) I was able to speak to the manager Casey. She was very willing to help me she was able to lead me right to the dog food I was looking for. Casey also let me know that in the future if they didn't have the food in stock to let her know and she would order it for me. This store is very well stocked and very clean. All the employees were very polite and friendly paying a lot of attention to my dog and giving her plenty of cookies. I highly recommend this pet store.”

“We took a hamster for Esperanza's sanctuary in for her leg to be looked at and make sure she was healthy and the vet staff was fabulous with her and we were a part of the plan for treatment. The atmosphere was calm compared to other VCA facilities I have been in and the Dr.Horwitz was awesome with our patient and my small human who loves that hamster. She came highly recommended by another vet in the valley as well. Here she is taking her meds happily.”

“We’re so thankful this vet was able to see us on a Saturday morning when our dog wasn’t feeling well. Everyone there was super calm and professional, and they really made us feel comfortable. They even had drinks and snacks for people while we waited, which was such a nice surprise. They took great care of our dog and got him feeling much better. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!”

“We are not regulars of this vet and had to take our cat here after an emergency. We called more for an end of life consultation, but after some consultation with Dr. Henein, we got some x rays and ended up opting for an emergency surgery the next day to remove a tumor from his colon/intestine. They got him in to surgery within 24hrs of our visit and ended up saving his life. They called during the surgery, after, and multiple times every day following. They went beyond what I’d expect and the communication was amazing. They absolutely saved our cat and even the surgeon that helps out but isn’t a part of this practice called multiple times to check on him. The only negative thing I could mention would be the cost, but I don’t imagine that surgery would have been any less expensive anywhere else. I highly recommend this place for the compassion, professionalism and especially communication!”

“We had a wonderful experience with VCA after our 17-year-old dog Olive needed emergency care while we were visiting Palm Springs from out of town. The morning after Thanksgiving, we showed up at 7am unannounced and were swiftly taken care of by the staff. Olive received gentle and thorough care from Dr. Kuhlman and nurse Marci, both of whom were clear, caring, and empathetic. Olive is on the road to recovery because of this team’s attention and care.
