“Great find. We had a couple of days in the Palm Springs area. Found the Paloma on the internet.
Wow. What a cool hotel. This is a mature property (as many are in Palm Springs) that has been renovated and updated with a modern @vibe@. Located in a residential area, the property is quiet and convenient.
There are standard hotel rooms and also small bungalows they call their 1-bedroom units. Opt for a 1-bedroom. You get a bit more space and a nice sitting and patio area.

The rooms were spacious, clean & fresh and well appointed with a refrigerator, counter and coffee machine. No microwave. By everything else you need.

The Paloma has a very nice heated pool area with a spa. There is a lunch/dinner area served around the pool and on some evenings they have live dinner music for the diners with candles for ambiance. Very nice.

They also have bikes available for daytime riding.

Let’s put things in perspective for this review. The Paloma cost us about $130 a night (all in). You could find less expensive hotels (motel 6 and others), but the properties were questionable. Then, there are the resorts (Marriotts/Westins) at $400+ a night. And the exclusive spas at $600 or more.

The Paloma is at the lower end of the cost scale for the area. And for us - was just perfect for the price point. Not too cheap to worry about a crap experience. Not so expensive that it breaks the bank. We were in Palm Springs to do other things. The hotel was a place to sleep. The Paloma (in our opinion) served that need perfectly and left us feeling very good about our choice at the end of the stay. We are not fussy travelers. But we want clean rooms with good amenities. The Paloma delivered on that perfectly.

Well worth a visit. We will return to the Paloma next time we are in the area. It’s a “keeper”.”

“FANTASTIC! Golfed the boulder course one day and the shorter pebble course on sunday. Both were great. Flat tee boxes, yeah! and fastest greens ever, which wasn't good for my game...beautifully fairways and scenery. some small issues with my arrangements tee off were handled great. Best price around, which helps, but a busy place so there is a bit of chaos at the cart/drop off area. Stayed for lunch one day, which was also great.Noteworthy details: Recommended for all golfers, some par 3 holes were less than 100yrds.”

“Beautiful hotel from entrance to rooms. Very inviting, nice wide layout. Big bar, decent food at bar. From the pool, to golf course & mini lake out front, I enjoyed my stay. Last but not least CVS across the street for incidentals, snacks, etc.”
