As I've stated many times before this is the worst place in the world to go to the woman that runs the place has been running the desert AIDS project for God knows how long but yet she runs the whole company with her husband being a security which causes 90% of the problem because how he's got no respect for anyone that's TRANSGENDER! Then they have a LabCorp within the building can't even get any medical insurance paperwork from the medical services that are within the building but yet they can send you bills constantly saying that they can't approve your balance but yet each doctor wants you to come in and take those Test, and there's no way for anybody at LabCorp to change anything out. Then she calls the police on me tells a law enforcement that I have AIDS and she doesn't want me to be back at that facility but yet I don't have a AIDS have HIV. But being the most discriminating and the most dishonest medical facility in the state of California that they truly are!

As a long time patient, I have seen this clinic, and Borrego in general, go downhill. The main reason is the physician - Clayton Barbour. I have heard him screaming at patients. Me thinks he needs to retire or get some help. I understand the pandemic has been hard on providers, but his behavior pre-dates it. There is no excuse for his behavior. How it affect his medical judgment is too frightening to think about.

I have been with Borrego Health for a number of years now and I'm currently under the primary care of Clayton Barbour. The office staff here is very helpful and attentive and the good Doctor takes the time to listen to your needs and review pertinent information. They also stay on top of ordering tests & examinations when needed. I also use the pharmacy here and they never miss a beat! My meds are always ready ahead of time and they stay on top of what drugs might interact with others. Always most helpful in answering any questions I might have. Highly recommended!

your experience may be better but personally i have not had good experience getting hold of the clinic, great deal of difficulty getting anyone to answer the phone ,after going through prompts on automated system sometimes takes 20 minutes-40 minutes, or up to almost an hour for someone to pick up the phone

5 years ago it was a great clinic....then they got government money and expanded and the hell with the patients... example: Our provider retired so we transferred to Eisenhower to be seen, when I called to have our prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy they deleted them instead of transferring them.... then lied about it to me two days ago... Do yourself a favor and find a better provider that actually cares about you and not how much they can bill for you....
