I had a terrible gash in the front fender of my Lexus 430 SC. A long, straight line gash that appeared to go through the clear coat. I thought someone had keyed my car. I was very disheartened. Estimates at other body shops ran from $1000 to $1500. The Shottenkirk Lexus service manager sent me to Platinum and told me to ask for Juan. Juan took the car in, and in about 5 minutes brought it back in pristine condition. He had cleaned and buffed my front fender, and he said it was likely bird poop in a perfectly long, straight line. My faith in my fellow man is restored. I guess I'm always just a little surprised to find a genuinely honest, competent business. This is one.

I took my car in for a repair from a hit and run. The work looks absolutely beautiful! Excellent job! Even fixed an issue I was having with my door. Juan completed the car in time for me to catch a flight, which I appreciated. Cassie, the lady in the office is always so cheerfull and helpful. I would recommend this business to anyone!

Excellent work & made the process very smooth. I got front bumper repairs here in December 2023, and I’m glad i decided to choose this shop. The work was completed to perfection in a timely manner during the holiday season. Great communication, they went above & beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the process. Two weeks ago I had a small car accident inside the parking lot of a gas station and they hit me and the result was that I ended up here with my friend Juan to repair my friend Lily's car and I looked at some painting and repair jobs that are going on there. well cool.....the truth is this place is worth it to bring your car to be painted, Here in the city of Cathedral City, Ca.,.....The car belonged to my friend.

Juan is as honest as they come. He has done several “$5” fixes for me (replaced cracked vacuum lines, replaced gas cap, etc” to fix issues on the car. I bought and older car and it’s taken a bit of work to get it running great, and Juan has been great through it all. His answer is not a $700 guess fix, but he determines what truly needs to be replaced and gets it done right the first time. My wife and I take both our cars there, and I’ve recommended half a dozen others who now use him. Never a complaint from any of them. He truly knows his stuff l, charges very fairly, and is highly recommendable. Also does great body work!

Juan is the owner and great to deal with! Very personable, fair and upfront about the auto body repair to my Lexus SUV. His tech provided a factory-like finish in a timely manner. Seeks customer satisfaction and stands behind his work! Will not hesitate to return for any future auto body repairs.

I highly recommend this business. The damage to my vehicle was restored and repaired in the best possible way by Juan. They were recommended by Scott at Shottenkirk Lexus as the best place to repair Lexus to its original condition. The communication and responsiveness is excellent. Repairs were done in approximately ten days.I would say they went above and beyond my expectations. They did not use "after market parts" but true Lexus parts. The finished job honestly looked better than when I drove it off the dealer's lot brand new. When my car was returned to me, it had been detailed, waxed and polished and was just beautiful !! No extra charge!!This business goes above and beyond to deliver your vehicle in pristine condition.

Shooting stars for this business. The fender liner on my front bumper partially detached so I took it to the dealership where they told me they couldn't fix it unless I ordered a whole new part, or I could take it here. I drove directly to Platinum without an appointment and Juan Sr (the owner) and Juan Jr couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Juan took a look at the problem and said that he could do something and about 15 minutes later my car was ready and fixed better than what it was. Thank you for your excellent service; you're the reason for all the 5-star reviews.

I recently purchased a new Lexus and within the first two weeks dropped a metal shelf on the drive side door. I was very upset, as you might imagine, and the remedy was to get it fixed as soon as possible! I called Shottenkirk Lexus who immediately recommended Platinum Auto Repair & Collision. I called them the same day, they saw me the next day, and I got my car back in about a week. I told Juan, the owner, that I wanted to move sure that the car (which didn't even have plates yet!) would look like it never even happened. Bottom line, Platinum delivered in every way, and at a fair price. They may not be the cheapest, but they are worth every penny, and I am true believer that you get what you pay for. While I was picking up my car, I met a woman who as also picking up her vehicle...she, too, couldn't say enough about their care, service and value. Highly recommended!
