really kind shop that helped me out when i was driving thru the area and my a/c went out. they were quick and fairly priced. was in a pickle of a situation and came in overwhelmed but the staff really helped me out!

When we moved to the area we were looking for a reliable and honest mechanic and we found Permuth. We've been loyal to Jorge and his crew for years now. Whenever we have a problem, Jorge always has time for us. Sometimes the job may take longer than expected, but the guys are always keeping us informed and the work is done right. And at a very reasonable price. We definitely recommend Jorge. Great people and great service.

Read great yelp reviews. My engine check light went on. Diagnostic cost $139 their hourly rate. Since we were on a vacation our time was valuable. They ordered the part and installed it timely. Cost of repair was $358 and they gave me the diagnostic cost as a credit against their bill. Family run and honest. I would highly recommend them. They stayed late to get me car ready for our road trip back home.

The only drawback as a customer is that Permuth is always busy due to their excellent work. I'm always short on time so I have taken my car to other shops that leave me regretting my decision. Stay away from Firestone, Midas and Noe's. They aren't trustworthy or they are just incompetent and or both.

A father and son team that are honest, hard working mechanics. I took my Subaru to the dealership. The dealership said I needed a repair that costs over $3000! I googled what the issue was and none of the signs were seen. With Permuth being an independent mechanic with high reviews, I took my car here. The shop conducted a review by two different mechanics as a quality review measure. Nothing was found that the mischievous dealer said. Permuth even said they will do follow ups for free to make sure my car is in good running condition. What a gem we have in Coachella Valley with this honest mechanic!

They are probably one of the most honest and reliable mechanics I have met in the valley. George and his father Estuardo, listen to what you're saying about your car and try to find out exactly what is wrong with your car. And they are price very reasonable. I strongly suggest them, they are a great and honest business.

We had a clutch issue on our 2001 dodge 2500 truck while towing our 5th wheel back from Arizona to Washington state. Estuardo and Bobby were very helpful in getting our vehicle in and getting repairs completed that same day! Pricing was great, service was great! As a female, it's often hard to find a good mechanic. Did a full inspection, clearly explained the repairs needed, took the time to answer my questions and kept me posted on the progress. My car was returned clean and ready to go. Thank you! Awesome customer service. Fixed my 2013 Nissan 370z and gave me a fair price.
