Will never shop here again. Was about to order a leather sectional, 2 swivel chairs and a bedroom set with Gabby. She was great, but then her manager, some guy, sits down and tells us the couch we want, which is the same as what's on their sales floor is $1400 more for left hand justification. We walked out. Total bait and switch, and the guy was an ass. Buh bye.

I found a huge selection of reasonably priced, serviceable, and attractive beds and mattresses for two guest bedrooms for my new home. The salesperson, Rene, made the quest through this sizable collection truly pleasant and manageable. He was congenial and incredibly knowledgeable and we were able to make our choices easily. We look forward to making future purchases and will absolutely request Rene as our guide.

We recently bought a mattress and accessories from Caden at Mathis Sleep. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a mattress or accessories.

Great service. We had Ines Zapata helped us. She is very cater to details and help us with our needs. Always available for questions. She helped us picked out the dinning set. We love it so much. They have a lot of sections, she also tried her best to give us a better price. I recommend her if you are looking to go to Mathis outlets!

Visited both the outlet and main store indio location today. Walked in and almost immediately get that salesman pouncing on us "how can I help, let me show you this... ask for me if you buy anything... " immediately turned off by this type of business setup. I'm guessing working by commission. The same sales guy followed us around and when we mentioned going over to the adjacent outlet he said ask for his friend blah blah. Also did not know about Mathis member pricing since all furniture contains "mathis member pricing". I saw that membership costs $139 a year. Very much disliked the way they operated at this store. Won't be back.

SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! This stores integrity is BOGUS! I don't recommend sales person Angela Holbrook-Dragon she does not value her customers and does not return phone calls as promised. I purchased a full living room set, Sofa, loveseat, recliner and RUG. The rug was on back order, understandable. Scheduled delivery for a couple weeks out so it would be complete. Perfect no worries. Couple days before delivery they tell me no rug yet, wanting to reschedule a couple more weeks out. I wasn't happy. I talked to a Manager at the store named Richard because I wasn't getting anywhere with Angela as i tried to change out the rug with her to purchase one that was in stock, she didnt have the skill set to make that happen. He reassured me that the next scheduled delivery would be complete. Ok no worries. The delivery drivers showed up without the rug, order not complete. Couldn't reach Angela so I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. They put Angela on the phone and she told me she would call me back after she talked to her Manager. I kindly asked her to be prompt as the delivery drivers were awkwardly at my house not know what what going on and had other deliveries after me. She never ever returned my call at all. I call the store and no manager avaible to talk to. I got no where just a person telling me there is nothing they can do about it. I still sit here with an incomplete order and not knowing wether or not I'm gonna get a refund on the items I didn't get. IM HIGHLY REGRETTING THIS PURCHASE

Want to extend thanks to Sales Associate Eddie Rodriguez for his excellent assistance in helping us select a dinning table and chairs. On our initial visit to the store, I was looking for a round table manufactured by Bernhardt. There was only one such table and it didn't meet my needs. Mr. Rodriguez very quietly suggested that they have another fine manufacturer Canadel that I might want to consider. He presented the Canadel catalog to me. I was very impressed with the items in the catalog and one week later returned and Mr. Rodriguez ordered the table and chairs. On my initial visit Mr. Rodriguez could have just let me exit Mathis Brothers store after I didn't see what I originally came for. But he politely offered an option that I am very happy with. He definitely knows his business in addition to having a wonderful sense of customer service! His patience and knowledge of the merchandise made the purchase an enjoyable experience.

Have purchased 4 expensive area rugs from Mathis bros. Purchased the warranty for protection. A friends pet ended up urinating on one of the rugs. This is one thing covered by the warranty. The area rug is also multi colored. They refused to clean since they said they couldn't see it. It was on the dark part of the rug. plus they said they couldn't smell it. What a rip-off. Will not purchase from Mathis Bros again

I believe I've given one review already. Yelp keeps bugging me for a second one even though I really want to forget this company. Bottom line... don't purchase anything from them if you want a satisfying experience. We lost more sleep in the first 3 months trying to get our order corrected than we should have. Don't do it.

My wife and I spent about a total of $15,000 dollars over a couple of months there, not that's a lot but it was to us. I give them 2 stars as there were a few employees that were very nice but their hands were tied. A few things we encountered. 1. They are very attentive until you purchased, once they have your money, it goes down hill from there. 2. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing 3. We never received our furniture at the same time, probably 5 different times. We picked up two different times as they had it at the Wharehouse , but they couldn't deliver it for several weeks. (A mattress we had ordered weeks earlier, after sleeping on a air mattress for 2 weeks, I decided to pick it up myself instead of waiting, they charged me extra as La Quinta has a different tax than Palm desert and it was now being picked up in La Quinta) 4. They seem to change their membership rules as they seem fit. When we purchased it, it was free delivery, after a couple of weeks, they said they changed it to pay per delivery, they said they were allowed to change their signed agreement with them at their discretion, but I wasn't allowed to change anything at my discretion. 5. Several managers seemed very passive aggressive when you inquired where your furniture was. There were a few managers that were good, but the bad out numbered the good, 6 Delivery managers didn't seem to know what was going on either and in some cases were just totally rude. At one time we had a piece that was in Ontario, then it went to Okalaoma, then it was out of stock. I never did get a straight answer but if finally arrived 6 weeks later. 7. Their customer service number was a hit or miss, rude helf the time. I believe it was in Oklahoma. 8. I'm still waiting for furniture almost 3 months out, I was able to put in a custom kitchen with custom cabinets and 175 foot, 8 foot tall block wall (with a really tough city inspector) sooner than I was able to get all my furniture that was supposedly in stock. 9 With my age, i've bought quite a bit of furniture for my rentals, I gave Mathis a chance as i've never used them before. I would take my chances at Ashley, Bob's, Jeromes before I got back to these guys (They do own, I believe Ashley's) All these other guys are tough also but I think the experience was a little better . 10. Surprisingly and I know Costco has less of a selection, but they delivered within 2 weeks, furniture was better made, better quality and gave me a refund if the price ever went lower, they exchanged furniture that was bad, their customer service was incredible. They had a queen mattress unseen and it was 100 percent more comfortable and better suited than the one I actually tried in Mathis. Mathis has a return on mattresses but you need to jump through hoops, pay additional money, buy a overpriced mattress cover and a overpriced pillow which I did, but in the end, it was just not feasible or economic to do. We went back to Costco. Over all, there were a few bright moments at Mathis ( A few employees that really cared) but overall, I would never go back. To many people want my business, I felt like I was just a number a Mathis. Good luck to everyone

I want to thank Mathis Brothers on a return we had. It was a special order custom sectional sofa that the manufacture made incorrectly and that Mathis Brothers went to bat for us and gave us a full refund. Thank you very much, this is how you get return customers. Ron Tracy

two days ago I bought a recliner for my new family and it was very challenging process because not every recliner is comfortable or correlate with my budget and my sales coach, was Ines Zapata she went above and beyond all possibilities and variety to make me happy and leaves the store completely satisfied with my purchase and when my credit card was blocked suspect a fraudulent transactions ,she stay with me extra 30 minutes after her shift was over to make sure that my card is unblocked and purchase is completed. She called me the next day to confirm the purchase has been through and verify all the detail of delivery excellent personality, great skills and very professional manners I would say that Mathis Brother outlet is beautiful place with excellent service great representative and a good variety of merchandise for every taste and every budget I would recommend everyone to do their furniture purchase there.

I was sent a defective mattress frame, and after being shuffled between many different departments for the last couple of days to rectify this issue and learning that none of them have communication with each other being charged various prices for various different things I will no longer be doing business with this company that I think it's gotten too big for its britches.
