Purchased countertop for a double sink vanity. Competitively priced. Crew was timely, professional and very personable. They were respectful of my home and surroundings. Placing tarps to protect flooring in area they were working and cleaned area thoroughly once countertop was installed. I would recommend.

I have used Fifth Tile-Kitchen and bath for several major projects. Started with just Kitchen cabinets but Carlos also has a contractor license. Our kitchen cabinet replacement turned into a demo of a wall, making room for a huge island, painting the entire house, 6 months later and entire gut of our master bathroom and now he is working on building a home office in our 3rd car garage. His employees and or the contractor people he uses-plumber, tile, electrician etc. are top notch.Carlos has a really nice show room for cabinets and tile, which most places don't have any more. I will post before and after photos once the home office is finished-hopefully before Christmas. Don't hesitate to stop in and meet Carlos and his team.

I agree with the other comments. Carlos comes across as an honest business man, but he is not. We hired him for a condo renovation and he was dishonest, lied many times. He did not build to drawings and basically did what he wanted or blamed me for changes. he's sneaky and cheated us on costs. I had to fight to get him to back down to what he promised. Terrible experience, and shoddy finish work bc in my opinion he did not oversee his workers at all. It was a very disappointing experience as a friend recommended him and we are very trusting fair people. He took advantage of us. I had to hire another person to clean up finish work.

The granite counter I purchased worked out great. Decent price, timely installation. But I will never do business with this place again. The owner is hostile, ignorant and, in my opinion, dangerous. I had a complaint the way one sheet of granite was installed. Carlos, the owner, started yelling at me and threatening to come over and rip out the countertops. He call me all sorts of names then threatened to go to the city and file a complaint that I didn’t take out permits for the job. I did take out permits but that’s not the point. I literally raised a question about how one end of the countertop was installed and he unleashed a fury storm at me. I then checked his yelp reviews and the store has a two star rating with almost everyone complaining about this guy and the store’s treatment of its customers. I should have read the reviews first but the store is local and I wanted to support my community. Beware people should you have a problem with anything when dealing with this store you will soon realize it’s a big problem getting it corrected. Btw he never corrected the problem.

Carlos was not truthful with his pricing. It was a typical bait and switch. I walked out of his store immediately. He quoted $4800 for prefab countertops and $5800 for slab when he came to my home. When I went to his shop to pay, the price went to $6800 and it's was a mix of prefab and slab that didn't even match. In addition to poor business practices he does not respond to Yelp reviews either good or bad.

Friendly, sleazy, sheisty. Main guy says he has a friend who will deliver flooring and cabinets to my home, 4 days later- after I purchased the $8k of product - "Oh, I'm sorry man my friend doesn't do deliveries any more." FOUR DAYS AGO HE DID??I bought extra flooring to make sure the contractors had enough for the home, I go to return 10 boxes and out of nowhere-- "oh, I'll take those extra tiles man but I have an 'all sales final' policy...cuz of COVID"The guy is friendly, I want to like him but these two reasons are amongst a dozen why this place is shady and more headache than it's worth. Go somewhere else...GO ANYWHERE ELSE

If you're lucky enough to find them open... The owner was dismissive, didn't take notes promised an order followed up he completely forgot the conversation. It was a waste of my time. Go somewhere else anywhere else but here...

Carlos the owner was referred by a construction person whose recommendation I valued that said he was a friend. The first time I met Carlos in his store to place an order he was very nice and helpful. But after that first day he made so many conflicting statements during the purchasing process that when I went to pay for my order I told him I was frustrated that he told me the price of a tile was 3.69 a piece and then tried to charge 12 on the invoice and that he had forgotten to put our order in when he said he would. When he told me it was just an estimate I told him he should tell the customer when it's an estimate rather than the actual price as I made all types of changes to my project to accommodate the tile. He began to yell at me. He said multiple times he did not need my business as he does a million dollar a year business. I said I needed the tile by the following week so I needed to get it from him at this point since he had lost time forgetting to put it in like he said he would. I had to ask him to stop yelling at me and be kind. I kept asking him why he was yelling. Any attempt to explain my side or to try to understand why he was yelling was met with either he didn't need my business or an abusive tone and manner. After I asked him if he was OK because he forgot so many things he had previously told me he had told me and he was being rude he began yelling at me once again saying I was calling him crazy. I told him I was trying to show empathy because I honestly have no idea why he was so verbally abusive toward a customer who was sharing their concerns about how the transaction was going. I asked him to just give me the invoice and I stopped talking. When he did I flipped my credit card on the counter. He said "You know what, your tile won't be in for 3 months". He then said he wouldn't sell to me because he didn't need my business and became obsessed with how I put the credit card on the counter. This person should not be working with female customers and I question exactly how he is making a million dollars a year. Thanks to Carlos's temperament I dodged a huge bullet, went one minute up the road to Prestige Tile where I was treated like family, given an honest quote and will get the tile right when I need it. If 5th tile making so much money while being verbally abusive to female customers Carlos doesn't need your money. I'm glad he didn't get mine.
