“Over the years our 2007 Vibe suffered more than it probably needed to: lots of dents and dings (by us and others) a damaged rear bumper, scraped up rear view mirror cover, partially broken plastic compound tail light cover - the list goes on.
We had some money saved and decided she needed a makeover and Platinum came highly recommended from our mechanic.
Cassie was amazing, getting us set up and giving an estimate well within budget and somehow she managed to find a new bumper and tail light cover for an 18 year old car whose parts were long out of stock from conventional sources.
Juan and the team were amazing, and when they weren't satisfied the paint was absolutely perfect (this Vibe is a completely unique blue no one has ever seen) they kept her an extra couple of days to fix it - and gave us a discount from our estimate. A lot of extras were given without charge as well like cleaning out the foggy head lights and detailing the car. They even arranged for and drove us to our rental car which we dropped off at Platinum at the end of the work and they took back.
The result: a beautiful, new appearing car ready to run another 18 years! We can't recommend Platinum highly enough if you want superlative, meticulous, professional service. Give Cassie a call! You'll be glad you did.”
“My experience with these requested reviews is they fall into the abyss. You seldom get a response to the review you submitted. It leaves me wondering did anyone read or weigh in on what I took the time to write? Nonetheless here I go.
I’ve been to FIX twice.. both times the service and staff have been delightful. The ‘garage’ is immaculate. And both times the body and paint repairs have been pristine. They also made the inside of my car smell great.. I have no idea what it is.
The only ‘beef’ with my experience is that when I went to pay for the repair using an AMEX, I was told there with be an additional 3% charge. Perhaps when they called to let me know my car was ready, the courteous thing to have done was to inform me of the credit card charge prior to my coming in. I would have come with the ability to pay cash. It felt a little shady on their part. It poses the question… am I able to credit the AMEX and pay with cash?
As a man of principle, out of 5 *’s I would need to give FIX 4*’s.”

“Phenomenal experience. First of all, I have owned my vehicle for over 2 years. I needed to replace my wiper blades but didn't know what I needed. Ryan was exceptionally knowledgeable about cars in general and was able to steer me in the right direction. He also put the wiper blades on for me! He even informed me that I had a rear wiper blade and showed me where to go to activate it. It's tucked up under there and I had no idea it existed. ? anyway, Ryan did all of this for me in the desert heat without making me feel like an idiot. “After going to an auto parts store down the street, and wasting 30 minutes, I gave up waiting and left. I drove down to Carquest, which I passed on my way to the other. Outside, this store could use some help, with the faded sign it doesn't really grab your attention. Yet, inside I had a "hello" from the clerk as soon as I entered and I found what I needed fast. I waited behind one person for a minute and, after another a minute or two, I was getting my receipt and headed out. Given the service, or lack of service, I had down the street, I was blown away how this place looked old and behind, but was actually helpful and quick. This place is a great find and I highly recommend it!”

“While waiting in line I overhead another customer say how NAPA has a 1.5 rating on Yelp and so I had to see for myself because there's no way that this store could have such a bad image! Reading through the other reviews it's sounds less about the quality of the parts and the store and more that customers want to be waited on hand and foot. NEWS FLASH: BASIC car maintenance is knowing how to install your own wipers, knowing what fluids your car takes (fyi it says in your manual OR on the CAPS) and being able to read the back of a receipt that states their return policy. I wish I could give out 10 stars because I've always had an amazing time with the guys up front. I'm always understanding when a part is unable to be found or if they don't sell the part because Auto Part stores are all AFTERMARKET, they're designed to work with multiple cars or the vendors have stopped making parts for cars that are FIFTY YEARS OLD. Yelp is meant to give an honest opinion on the stores' quality, not to use as an attack against the workers just because you feel above everyone in your *cough* pre-owned *cough* "Luxury" car.”
